I haven't watched the guy play much. I could look at you tube highlights, but he would look like the next coming of jesus b/c it would be jsut highlights. Anyone know his weeknesses strengths? I know this is his 2nd year in the MLS coming off a good rookie year.

The fact that he was one of just 2 new guys from the January camp that got called in for the Mexico camp can only mean good things.

It's still a longshot, but if he has a good camp coupled with a good month of April in Seattle, I could potentially see him taking Evans' spot to Brazil as the second RB.

Watch a Seattle game and form your own opinion. The last game I watched I was pretty impressed by his speed, his willingness to go forward, and his recovery going back. He's also very aggressive with his runs and has great off the ball movement.

His style of play at RB is different from the other potentially RBs for the world cup. He attacks more than parkhurst, cameron, and evans but is not as experienced obviously. I think he could provide a more dynamic approach and we should bring him over either evans or parkhurst

I don't really agree, and Cameron's final ball is much better.

not the best defender but seems to be improving, his speed is great, his crossing skills were horrible his first year but also look better this season so far.

I like him, he looks to have great potential. I saw a match a while back (after having not seen him since the U21 tourney), and it looks like he´s filled out quite a bit. I don´t know if this has affected his pace.

He was pretty poor position wise and tracking back the last few times I've watched him play, but he definitely has a huge upside The general consensus, I've always thought, is he is a viable option at RB in the near future.

I think he has great potential, but is not there yet. Would be disappointed if he was part of this World Cup, but think he will be very involved four years from now.

Needs experience, and definitely a guy that may see Europe in his near future.

Why do we care what Mexican fullbacks are doing?

What part of 'deandre' or 'yedlin' is mexican? You must think the fresh prince of belair is mexican also since they have the same skin color.

Yedlin is great going forward. He often gets too far upfield and has to track back hard to get back in the play - so you get to see his speed.

He's an okay on ball defender, but he runs himself way out of position and is a counterattacker's wet dream.

Yedlin at RB against Portugal would result in no less than 11 Ronaldo goals.

I don't think would be good for this World Cup. Our defense needs guys who are positionally aware and can hopefully stop guys like Ronaldo, Reus, etc. His abiliites going forward are great, but it is not what we need right now.

His hair looks dumb and it's very distracting.
