It's already been sorted out for the World Cup bud.
You say that but are they ripping out all the plastic fields and putting grass down and actually letting it settle
If not the same problems will happen

it was shite, but still not as bad as England/Denmark today.
Clearly pieces of grass coming up isn’t ideal but established grass in Frankfurt is still better than sod over plastic that isn’t level.

When Boca beat River a few months ago a defender kicked a River player cleats up square into the chest just outside the box on a counter. Yellow card
Yeah Doku, of Man City, kicked MacAllister, of Liverpool, in the chest inside the box during stoppage time this past season. Went to VAR and no penalty given.

Yes, this is the full A squad minus injured players of course.

Yes, that's been well documented.
They are growing the grass a year in advance.

I have tickets to one of the semis and the 3rd place game here in Clt. Looking forward to it.

That’s not letting it settle where it’s going to be laid from a natural turf management standpoint it’s not as simple as you think.
That’s why when you get sod laid it was a while to establish esp if you are putting it on concrete
The set up Spurs have is perfect
Hopefully the NFLPA gets their way and all these stadiums become grass

They're not laying down sod.

Then how are they getting 120+ yards of uniform established grass into these stadiums?
Posted on 6/21/24 at 3:17 pm to StraightCashHomey21
I’m seeing it they laid it down two days before the match

For the World Cup?
They are seeding and growing under special lighting more than a year in advance.

For Cooa, yes and it’s awful. I’m talking anout the regulations FIFA put in place for the World Cup bidding process

That time line doesn’t even match up
Especially for warm season turf like Bermuda
That and high quality Bermuda doesn’t come from seed
So in Atlanta, LA, Dallas, etc where is this grass going to be before it’s in the stadium ?
Unless they are all converting for that NFL season and ripping the plastic shite out and the concrete and establishing grass.

I haven’t seen anything about the bidding other than it has to be natural grass
The cards stadium in AZ has the set up for it, rolling it out to grow then bringing it back in.
But these other NFL stadiums don’t

Every NFL stadium is growing (not laying) grass in 2025 in preparation for 26.
Hell, Dallas is going through a test run right now for Copa.

Good, they’re being cheap asses (Not Dallas) by installing turf.
