With the Man City draw today, the table has been set up nicely for us. A win puts us solely in third, with the equally best scenario of being 1 point behind the Gunners should they lose to Liverpool.

While a draw wouldn't be the end of the world, I will take it given the way this season has played out. Obviously, a loss woild be a catastrophic blow to any Champions League hopes and puts us in jeopardy of even an Europa League spot, now that Villa is also sitting on 63 points.

Definitely a gut check moment for the lads to go out and secure this win.

Soccer is the gayest sport on earth, seriously. I guess with Chelsea having been piss for 3 years and not having played in any I forgot how many big matches are decided/ruined by ridiculous referees/rules.

Not having a striker in our last two must win matches should be fun

Caicedo and Cucurella’s work rates are insane.

Second goal was inevitable but damn the boys played well in the second half.
Had a couple of legit chances to draw.
Jackson has sent us off to Europa, hopefully.

no excuse for having his elbow up right there, none. Jackson looked back and found him and then put his elbow up. Looked like it was deliberate to me

AVL sitting at 63 with Spurs and United left is very concerning

Tim Howard explained it to you pretty well, that's never a red without a swing and there was zero swing

jackson put his forearm into the oppononent’s face for no reason on a 50/50 ball

it was stupid and very costly for the club

It was unnecessary and costly for sure but it's still not a red card, at least not if soccer wants to be a serious sport. Unfortunately it proves repeatedly it doesnt care about that. To be fair Jackson sucks anyway so whatever but soccer has the absolute worst rules and enforcement imaginable

Just watched it.

I mean I would absolutely scream red card but would expect a yellow if that was against us. Obviously you can rip people down by the hair and kick players directly in the balls after a play on purpose as long as they’re not wearing a blue uniform. I’d say that’s a red 60% of the time

Tim Howard is an idiot. Obvious red. Bring back Robbie Mustoe instead.
