Sanchez and our back 4 immediately give it right back. It's laughable how sloppy we are with the ball back there.

Agreed.

As for the attack, Madueke is so fricking selfish, that it borders on being stupid.

sanchez is that QB that murders his own team by throwing terrible interceptions

its not helping that the back line for CFC are playing and passing very tentatively

CP is enfuego today

CP, Caicedo, Gusto, and Jackson are all playing great.

Enzo has been playing well too.

yeah, when we get past forward pressure we are lethal at times

enzo as a deep 8 and keeping the forwards wide has been very effective

we even got an assist from Nick Jackson, Madueke still forces the issue too much with low potential shots

From midfield forward, I would say so.

He is greedy to the point of being dumb.

He’s got some Sterling in him. Rather be a hero than make the extra pass. We’ll see what kind of tolerance Enzo has for selfish play.

We need some help in the back - maybe call up Alfie in January? Other than that, we’re beating teams we should beat which hasnt been the case over the last 2 seasons. Progress.

We aren’t bad there, just young (and injured). I would suggest that we will see steady improvement over time.

Keeper is another story.

He has a pretty good upside, but his inconsistency is scary.

Not to get ahead of ourselves vs. Forest, but the following 4 game stretch will be brutal:

At Liverpool

Newcastle United

at Man U.

Arsenal

I want to see total domination of Gent today.

Pretty dominating but this team cannot help but give up sloppy goals due to bad back line play. Love Neto and Nkunku leading the attack. 5th straight win in all comps. On to Forest.

I thought Mudryk played well in this one. His assist on the first goal was quality against any competition.

2pts that got away today

CFC are definitely getting better and you can see the talent is there

the tactics and form are starting to look good, just too many young guys at too many spot, especially in the back

Jackson is certainly benefitting from Maresca’s tutelage, he looks much more under control

NF could have had all three pts just as easily as CFC.

Jacksons boneheaded slap could cost him a suspension. Along with others.

Give Sanchez his due today- he saved us. If he can get his footwork better maybe he can round into good form. Should’ve bagged a few today but that’s how it goes sometimes. The bitch of it is that we needed 3 points going into the next 4 very difficult matches. I’d be elated with 6 out of 12 points but not expecting it.

That sucked, that could have set up our first truly big match in a while at liverpool next weekend. Still big but man it would have been nice to roll in there on a high you a chance to pass them. Don't trust this team in a big match yet though, especially on the road

Haven’t beaten one of the top 4 in a while. Maybe it’ll come together this weekend.
