I think we lose a tight one. Back line still leaky and Salah/Jota/Diaz will get a few. But we are actually healthy - even Reece can play - so we’re at full strength minus those who have to sit out due to penalty. I just don’t trust Sanchez against top competition (or medium competition either). Again, we need 6 of the next 12 points and any points here will increase that prediction.

Colwill playing aggressively but living dangerously caught up to him with a Salah PK
the CFC squad seems a little frenetic on both ends today while the veteran LFC seems poised

Our chances were few. I wasn’t expecting a win but hoping for a point. Caisado is a man. I like Neto’s aggressiveness. Cole was quiet. Reece will get better as he finds his fitness. Nick getting better each game. I’m not saying Sanchez should’ve blocked the second goal but his hands should’ve been wide to make himself bigger. We are getting better.

Still have no killer instinct, hopefully it comes with experience but the wait is painful and I see no Terry, Lampard, Drogba, Cech style alphas on this roster. Palmer has the swag and ability but too cunty to lead.

A match like today is why I see
Osimhen being brought in come January.
The question is, do we move Nkuku or Jackson? Or do we keep all three?
Lastly, Sanchez is not the answer in goal. However, that won’t be addressed until summer imho.

Sanchez is shite. Bring back Djorgie.
I’d rather a solid CB than a striker. Osimhen has Lukaku vibes.

Well it was Jorgensen all day today. He didn't have much to do. Clean sheet would have been nice as Chelsea thoroughly out classed Panathinaikos.
Mudryk and Joao Felix played well.

Pretty comfortable win. God this is a shite league. If Chelsea doesn’t win this, Maresca should be flogged.

Just a note to say our 3rd kit is ghastly

While true, that has been a tough place to play traditionally. Throw in that they had some extra motivation given the passing of their defender, and I thought that the squad played very well.
Felix is quality, but that was a known. We are lucky to have him.
Lastly, Mudryk played very well and should have had a couple of more assists. His runs were superb, and his decision making was top shelf. There is a reason that they don’t want to lose him. Like Jackson (whom everyone hated) he is young, getting better with each passing day.

Perhaps you are right, but I don’t see it. He is legit imho. He just wants to play on a big stage.
My take is that he is more akin to Drogba than Lukaku.

Mudryk may be playing better, but still very erratic. My guess is he won’t be here after the summer. Loved Felix during his short first spell here and glad he’s back- he’s quality and should play in the first team more.
Hating giving up the lone goal but it’s human nature to relax with a huge lead. We need to beat Newcastle this weekend to keep pace.

Ditto Jackson, etc.
You could even say the same about Palmer to a slight degree.

Perhaps, especially with signing Sancho. However, I believe that he is here for the long haul. Maresca wants two guys at each position, and he has stated that he wants Mudryk.
We will see, but I would not bet on it.
