Look, Frank has done a good job this year no doubt. FA Cup final, potential top four finish, all good. And it’s been challenging with the bans and trying to bring young players along while not alienating the veterans. However he has not been able to keep them focused throughout the season and losses to shite sides have put them in this position of having to draw in the last game to secure top-4. That last loss to Sheffield was garbage when we needed points and didn’t show up. Same with West Ham a few weeks earlier. We are limping to the finish and if we don’t make it, he has to take some blame.

It depends on how you're defining intelligence. His positioning is pretty flawless. He's consistently in the right place. He's great at anticipating what an opponent is going to do, getting in passing lanes, etc. His decision making hasn't been perfect and his final ball could use some work, but he's definitely got a high soccer IQ.

I agree with all of this. Which is why him ignoring a wide arse open Pulisic playing out wide so he can make a much lower percentage pass to Barkley says a lot to me. We aren’t talking a small sample size.

Additionally, he doesn’t track worth a shite.
That isn’t a “youth” issue...it is simply a “mentality“ that he seems to lack.

Well sure, but it’s going to be a process to get better. There will be growing pains, but I’m happy with the direction we are in with frank. If the standard is perfection, we are still chasing City and Liverpool, but taking steps to close the gap. Which is all anyone can ask.

While I don’t expect perfection, I do expect to improve. I think we are improved from Sarri, and what frank has accomplished this year with this cast has been nothing short of remarkable from my perspective. Though others are welcome to their own opinions, don’t miss the forest for the trees.

Win, lose or draw I still ride with frank. There’s extra koolaid and Pom poms on the pain train if anyone wants in. Get on or move on. Reinforcements are inbound, and the future is bright.

Does the havertz deal fall through if we choke on our balls tomorrow?

Impossible. Mount does not recognize CP on the pitch. Don’t care who get it just get it.

Worst I’ve seen Christian play this year. He is pressing big time and has been heavy on numerous touches.

Agreed. Wolves closing down any space he could have, too. Combination is making him look sloppy and causing him to turn the ball over almost every time he touches it.

Game has been stuck on the far hash going through Mount. Boring first half.

Giroud with a strong after a great ball from Mount. Pulisic driving into the defense to open up space for Mount. Great play all around. 2-0.

Giroud has been such a beast. That recovery after the first touch was amazing.

Great! Giroud has really been good lately.

Keep it up Blues
