What is there for him to say? Everything was set up perfectly we fell asleep once conceded a horse shite penalty and that was that. Nothing for anyone to be pissy about except our second half effort but he's not going to go there to the media now.

I'm not as mad as I thought I'd be, just stunned. Ball bounced Atléti's way all game, and they took advantage of the chances they were given.
Respect to Atléti, enjoyed watching them play all year and will be cheering for them in the finals.
PS: Arda Turan's back 2 papa was impressive.

Of course it could have turned out differently and he would have looked like a genius but it was definitely being questioned at the time.

That was a legit scoring opportunity. Atleti could've gotten luckier and put a couple more in the net too though. They definitely looked to be the better side today

From an attacking standpoint it really is. We don't have a single goal scoring threat or creative player or attacking winger that is high quality.
Hazard on the ball is the only thing we have but any smart team will do what Atleti did today and just have 2-3 guys around him when he's on it because there is nowhere else for him to go with the ball that puts the other team in any danger.

Questioned, sure. Answered, no. Even with the outcome, I don't think that that was the deciding factor, i.e., I think that Chelsea would have had a very difficult time either way. It was a risky decision, but Chelsea's not particularly great at breaking people down, and Atletico has the optimal combination of cuntishness and organization to kill off a game. Probably easier to strike before they shut it down completely, though you obviously risk being put away earlier.
