I was just informed that Mourinho has the most CL semi final losses.

What's that old phrase..."specialist in failure"?

If we ignore everything he did before Real Madrid, he's basically Phil Mickelson pre-2004

Just the tweet machine. I don't know the question. Sounds like he wants to play for Bayern though.

Simeone has done of one of the best coaching jobs of all time. Simply amazing. Atletico just works as a team in all areas. Fantastic coach who I hope isn't poached away by a bigger team.

I wouldn't mind if he moved on to another league, lol. He is a fantastic coach. The job he's done is simply incredible.

Losing in the semis is better than losing in the round of 16 and always getting fourth. I know you are just trying to elicit a response from Randy.

You guys act like Mourinho is beyond criticism. He sells his most creative player, loans out one of the most promising strikers in the world, and criticizes everyone else so people don't scrutinize how poorly his team has played when it mattered. He's still one of the best coaches in the world, but Simeone outclassed him at Stamford Bridge, just like he outclassed him in the Copa final last May.

Not a Chelsea fan. Simeone is outclassing everyone right now. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching Atletico all year long.

Yeah I know, but hendy's bait brought up a chance for me to criticize Mourinho, who honestly should have done better than he did. It's not like he has an aging squad or anything.

He's not, but you're never going to generate much actual discussion about Mourinho because he gives people a metric frickton of easy ammunition to hurl at him

I don't think that either of these two games were great examples of Mourinho being outclassed on gameday

He should probably be criticized more for his tenure at Real Madrid, but he's not going to be because his complete lack of diplomacy turned his time there into a complete clusterfrick. Jonathan Wilson wrote an article a couple of years ago about how Real Madrid was never going to win La Decima with Cristiano Ronaldo because of the complications he presents tactically to a manager. It was a silly article then, and it looks even sillier now, but he wasn't wrong that there was a problem
