I am starting to believe that Filipe Luis could challenge Marcelo as the best LB in the world, yet he is staying home this summer. Technically, all of Brazil is staying home this summer.

That team looks fricking untouchable to me but I'm really only considering those guys as FIFA players not how good they actually are

Which one of those midfielders is even close to an elite level attacker?
Hulk used to be the most overrated player in the world but not everybody pretty much knows he's bad. Bernard is just a kid and nowhere near proven enough to be reliable.
Neymar was outstanding at the Confed Cup but has been only ok at Barcelona. Is he really ready to carry the load at a World Cup? If he's not where are goals going to come from?
Unless Oscar improved his form tenfold from the last 6 months I just don't see what you guys are seeing with this team, at least from an attacking standpoint.
Like someone said kind of alluded to their defenders are probably more dangerous going forward than their mids and maybe that is how they will win.

I don't think Hulk is bad at all... I agree he is over rated, in the sense that he isn't a £40mm player...
Fred is a very capable CF and Oscar and Paulinho both have goals in them from the MF

I mean the potential is there and a lot of guys are young and have shown promise but I still don't see a proven elite level attacking option.
Basically everyone of their guys would have be on top form for them to be a major threat to score a lot of goals.
Maybe home field advantage will give them that lift they need.

I think that's close but will likely feature a striker like Fred up top and Hernanes (pretty underrated player except to Brazilians), Paulinho, Fernandinho more likely to rotate ahead of Ramires:

Julio Cesar;
Marcelo, Thiago Silva, David Luiz, Dani Alves;
Hernanes / Paulinho, Luiz Gustavo / Fernandinho;

I would agree that it's strange that the other top South American sides have more star power in attack.
However, all the attackers for Brazil have been pretty excellent playing together for the NT instead of where they draw their big paychecks (EPL with the physical defense many don't adjust well to, Russia/Ukraine petroleum clubs where few see them).

Argentina is the tits to play with on FIFA. Put Higuain and Palacios in the midfield. Aguero up front (best striker on FIFA). Di Maria and Lavezzi on the wings. Messi at the 10.
