beat me to it!

Also LeGrove's tweets are really fricking with us. He says "@LeGrove ... I heard a whisper that Robin didn't have any adverse reaction in training."

I want to believe it's true, but also not put any stock on something a blogger is saying.

*tears of confusion*

@ArsenalTVOnline
Rich - Bit of surprise news. Robin van Persie has been named in travelling squad. He trained this morning and was a late addition.

Don't stop praying glass! I'm most certainly skipping class tomorrow to watch the match. Surely there's a bar in Norman that has Fox Soccer Channel.

Wow, van Persie being available in any capacity would be a huge surprise.

This might sound crazy, but I think Song's potential absence would be a bigger blow than RVP's. I think there is a bigger dropoff from him to whoever we would play as DM than there is from RVP to Chamakh.

I tend to agree with this. No Song is going to hurt unless either Diaby or Denilson play the matche of their lives.

I would wholeheartedly agree, but Song didn't have a great match last time. In fact he almost hurt us by getting sent off. Song tends to overcommit, and that leads to a lot of bad looking challenges against a side that passes it as quickly as Barca. That aside though, I do tend to agree. Though I think the scorching form RvP would really help exploit Barca's vulnerability in the center of defense at the moment.

No question. We need a goal for sure. RVP certainly increases our odds of hitting the back of the net.

I'd feel a whole lot more comfortable if Puyol was back but Abidal has proven to be solid in the center (probably Barça's best most consistent defender this season). Busquets in CB is worrisome considering it's not his natural position.

Walcott being out makes me breathe a sigh with Maxwell occupying the LB role bc he doesn't have the speed to deal with Walcott unlike Abidal.

Valdes being back is a small victory but I'll take all the regular first teamers I can get.

Might be the difference in the game.

Busquets to play in defence v arsenal with mascherano coming in as holding midfielder

advantage: arsenal (imo)

Mascherano doesn't really fit into their quick passing game as well as Busquets. Never really understood the buy.

It's times like these that make me miss Yaya Touré

it's okay, you still have Messi, David Villa, Xavi, Iniesta to maintain 65% possession against a team whose strategy is to do exactly that.

also, pretty sure I've posted this before but I was doing some digital digging and had to show one of my favorite arsenal pieces:

Might be. Especially if Arshavin starts on the left. Gives Alves more freedom. That said,
the opposite is true as well. Nasri could do some damage against Maxwell.

Quick question:

Will the Barca game be televised? I looked on ESPN, but they didn't indicate that it would be on FSC, ESPN, etc.

Hope i don't have to stream it.

TIA
