Not good news for the Gunners with Fabregas asking to come out of the game with an apparent muscle strain.

So it's RVP held out for precautionary measures

Kos is precautionary or an actual injury?

And now Cesc with who knows how severe of an injury.

Every week a key starter goes down injured it seems. I just can't ever get used to it.

Walcot misses a wide open net. Arshavin is looking back on form, pretty good 2 weeks for him.

yes, now Walcott goes down in some serious pain. Asking for immediate substitution. Lower leg injury, got his leg rolled up on the back by the defender.

Ankle injury, he can't walk on it. Gotta hope he is healty soon.

he got stretchered off.

Now it's Denilson on for him.

Full time...whew...that looked sure to be another heartbreaker after sitting on one goal against a team who can shank you with a set piece or longball.

But at what cost? Anxious to see the injury reports tomorrow morning.

I didn't see any of the match. I wonder how Wenger's press conference will be.

Word is Walcott has an ankle sprain. At least out Sunday.

Sucks really badly for him to miss a cup final. Theo can't catch a break with regards to his ankles.

Would be heartbreaking if our captain missed his first final as captain. Nasri and Arshavin would have to step up in a big way.

Man this sucks.

...Too long to captain a final for arsenal and i wont give up till the last second.

In the cup final, I'd actually prefer it if Arshavin played centrally. It would relieve him of significant defensive responsibility, and keep Nasri on the wing, where his is much more effective. Centrally I don't feel Nasri moves the ball quick enough, after all he's a quintessential French playmaker who needs the ball at his feet. That ability to hold the ball is better served on the wing where he can use his speed to go to the touchline and beat his man one on one. Arshavin is actually very creative in the center, with quick little flicks and smart movement that are better suited to our game.

Also Jack had a pretty great game yesterday.

Amazing amount of passes attempted and amazing amount of passes completed. What I like about his game is that he's always trying forward passes and then moving forward into space to support the next player with the ball. Denilson became slightly complacent in the holding role, though he is brilliant at playing between the lines, he doesn't have the ability to drive the ball like Wilshere does, which I think i why Wilshere is playing and Denilson isn't.

Nice post. It will be interesting to see what Wenger does assuming Fab is out. Will he go with Rosicky or Denilson? Will Arshavin, Jack, Nasri, or Rosicky play in the Fabregas role? Will RvP be healthy?

Some big decisions to make. I know its just the CC, but we need this win.
