We could sure use Rambo at times like this.

I just hope he reaches the level he had before the injury. He was a really impressive player, much different from Wilshere, but still with a good passing range and great defensive workrate.

Worry not fellow Gooners, thenry will make his triumphant return to Ashburton Grove on Wednesday to watch The Arsenal vanquish Stoke.

You'll probably get to see the first team. Wenger needs to stop these mass rotations. Also I hate Stoke City.

Knowing my luck, a phantom blizzard will hit London postponing the match for a second time.

Watch out for Rory Delap long throw-ins. That's the biggest threat.

Arsenal still another young, talented midfielder from La Masia.

Jon Miquel Toral

Apparently his mother is English. He's quite the talent apparently. The Sun is saying that Sandro Rosell and Gazidis got into it in the boardroom at the Emirates last week (via @YoungGunsBlog). That's got to be a good sign for Arsenal.

Barcelona's youngsters are going to the Dallas Cup too. I really need to make the trip down there...

Maybe it's because you have fans from all over the world with soccer, but reading a couple
of the comments about that article make my head hurt. It was just a couple, but the "Why? Didn't we learn our lesson with Cesc" and "Another midfielder? This is ridiculous" type of stuff make me .

I'm with you. We did learn our lesson with Cesc...he's been one of the best players in Arsenal history. If you were going to compare him to anyone in a negative light that we signed from La Masia at least say Fran Merida (though I thought he got a raw deal at Arsenal).

The kid is 16. When's he's 20 guys like Cesc and Nasri will probably be in Barca kits. Young talent and depth is never a bad thing. Particularly at that price. If he was English it'd be a lot more...

If Merida stayed, he'd be playing a lot, probably ahead of Rosicky in the middle of the park. It was actually a bigger loss than people thought, since Diaby is always injured, Denilson is afraid of making a forward pass, and Rosicky is pretty bad in the center. Merida was always able to drop nice passes and he had a great shot on him. I was disappointed to see him go.

I think Cesc will be in a Barca kit, and Nasri in Real Madrid, since they wanted him really bad in 2008 and some see him as the successor to Zidane.

Boys will be boys

Aaron Ramsey is on our squad sheet for the next FA Cup match

RvP and Kos out for the match today. I'll be missing the first half but will be able to catch the second

Young Guns just retweeted someone that said Ramsey can't play in the Orient replay because he wasn't in the squad for the first match.

I wonder how close Ramsey is to returning. I hope Wenger doesn't rush him, not that I think he will. They say it takes about as long as you were out to regain your initial form, and if that is the case, Aaron has a long way to go.

Apparently he's fully healthy now, just regaining his form. Scoring a goal yesterday can't hurt his confidence.

He was allegedly the best player on the pitch for both Nottingham Forest and Cardiff City if their fans' forums are to be believed. I would expect that at the minimum. The good thing is his game wasn't based on pace, which is something he'll probably lose, as it was based on technique, which he probably won't lose. He might not have the workrate he once did either, but I don't know. Eduardo was never the same, albeit after an arguably more serious injury, though his touch was still superb; he never really had the confidence he once had. That's the most important thing for Aaron, having confidence to go into 50-50's at full speed, etc.

This is true. Diaby had a similarly horrific injury and came back strong. Hopefully Rambo will do the same.

Rambo struggled from what I heard at Forest and Cardiff, but was picking up the pace as time went on. Will be interesting to see if he can overcome that mental hurdle.
