Sadly, no. It's for a big summer internship. I'm going to have to look into DVR options.

some funny song suggestions from Young Guns

quote:

Boom, Boom, Boom, let me hear you say Ryo? "Ryo".

His name is Ryo, he comes from Japan, his name his Ryo, he hates the Tottenham

glad to see he's opened his account, and seems to be electrifying his team at the moment.

Barca losing at the half. goal came from Milito failing to close down on a shot from about 18 yards out. possibly due to the fact that they have a softer backline with those injuries...?

I turned on the last ten minutes and was thoroughly unimpressed by Milito and Maxwell. Its nice that Barca had to fight all match.

Frimpong Picks Ghana over England. Will be interesting to see who calls him up first. Seems like England has a sliver of hope if Ghana waits too long. Frimpong looks a good player, but Coquelin is killing it in Ligue 1 and will likely be Song's understudy next season. I would imagine Frimpong would get loaned out to a Championship side.

Before his injury, Frimpong beat out Coquelin and Eastmond, so anything's possible if he recovers. They seem different enough players that you can possibly use them all in different situations. None are particularly reminiscent of Song, though all look more athletic than Denilson.

I don't think Frimpong had beaten out Coquelin yet. Everything I've read from Young Guns says Coquelin has the leg up on him. I know Lorient wanted to buy him in the Koscielny deal and we said "hell no." Even if Frimpong had slightly nudged past him, Frimpong being on the sidelines and Coquelin starring in Ligue 1 would seem to make Coquelin the front runner. It will be nice to actually have a DM whenever Song is out next season instead of having to watch Denilson try and play that role.

I'm just basing it on the fact that Frimpong made the plane to Austria, and I don't think Coquelin did. But maybe the loan deal already went through, I honestly don't remember. I think all three, Eastmond, Frimpong, and Coquelin are worth keeping, though Eastmond looks the odd man out.

Good vid. He's really impressive in tight areas.

I hope we take care of business against Leyton Orient. I'm worried already because Djourou is out.

That's what I read early this morning, but then arsenaldotcom came back with this:

RT @Arsenal: INJURY NEWS: Wenger: ‘We have not lost anyone from Wednesday. Djourou and Walcott are better than expected’ #Arsenal

Interesting. I'd be surprised if Djourou does start though, with the midweek game vs. Stoke and the CC final all in the next week. I think Walcott, Fab, RVP, Song, maybe Wilshere and Nasri will sit along with Djourou.

Hopefully Chamakh, Bendtner, Arshavin, anc Co. can take care of business. We've got a lot of big matches coming up. No need to risk our stars. I wish Ramsey was healthy. Rosicky just isn't getting it done this year, and our midfield seems to lag without one of Fab, Wilshere, or Nasri. We could sure use Rambo at times like this.

also, the Dallas Cup is in the spring. End of March, I believe. I might have to make the 3 hr drive down to see our boys.
