Twitter has been losing their minds with nwaneri being on the bench. I do wonder if he’s just not developing like we had hoped he would or if it’s an attitude/commitment thing or what. I had assumed Merino would be rested today but I can understand why you don’t want to risk losing.

Merino is on is 6th start in a little over 3 weeks. He did get a 45' break the other day, but he for sure needs a rest.

Wanted Merino and Zubi rested. Shame they have to slide Norgaard in at center back rather than midfield.

Eh I’m willing to give the defense some leeway. Norgaard is a midfielder, Hincapie has played like 7 games, White has played even fewer, and MLS is an 18 year old that’s really only played CL games. Not to mention this is literally the first time they’ve played together as a unit. They look decent enough when you factor all that in.
