A little more butt clenching than I wanted but 3 more points.

Even though we have been seriously unlucky with injuries we are still 18 unbeaten.

7 games in 20 days. 4 down 3 to go with 10/12 points gained. That was the type of game you have to grind out and win if you want to be champions. It wasn’t our best but considering how high stakes the last three matches have been it’s understandable that we’re pretty worn out. Time to rest up since we get the early kickoff Saturday.

should be a good one. You know emery is going to throw everything at us to get us to stumble. I just worry about that game with no Saliba or Gabriel (and potentially no Mosquera)

My assumption, based on yesterdays comments that Saliba will likely be back

I am expecting dropped points honestly unless Saliba is back. Just a little too inexperienced (the backline playing as a unit together) for me. And hoping Rice just had a cramp.

If Rice is out, Zubi and Merino are more than enough to help win that game. I hope Gyokeres starts.

Also :lmao: at "title contenders, MASSIVE RESULT WITH TEN MEN AT HOME AGAINST WORLD CLASS ARSENAL" Chelsea

Didn’t think the Hincapie signing was really necessary but thank god they made it happen. It’s going to be really fun to watch this team when everyone is healthy.

I keep telling myself that, but I now fear, this will never happen this season. It’s crazy.

Also, I guess title contenders Chelsea were a bit hung over after celebrating their draw this past weekend.

I felt the same about Calafiori last season, but the dude is a baller. Just need him to stay healthy.

Phenomenal win. Ben White bravo because we will need him going forward with our defensive injuries now.

Odeegard, Madueke, and Gyokeres all getting good minutes is great because we need to start scoring at will with these defensive injuries.

Chelsea losing was glorious after all the talk of them challenging us for the title. Love that. Liverpool dropping points also makes me laugh.

Keep on grinding out wins. 5 winnable PL games left this December. Would be bitter sweet to be 15-3-1 at the end of the month and halfway through the season.

I’m not even mad about the draw anymore because their title race lasted from Sunday night until tonight.

We got 3 more games then a week break in between Wolves & Everton

Villa (A)
Club Brugge (A)
Wolves (H)

Possibly get one of Gabriel or Havertz back around then as well. Need to start incorporating Jesus in as well, feels like that Club Brugge game would be a good spot.

Norgaard has got to play some minutes as well. Zubi has got to be redlining, and Rice looking gassed at about the 60' minute today. I hope he's fit for Villa, then he needs a rest

Rice says he's good to go this weekend.

Just need Saliba in there and let's ride

I'll be happy if Gabriel is back for the Liverpool game on January 7th. If we drop points against Villa away, I expect him back for the Villa home game on December 30th.

There are murmurs that he is the absolute best in the squad at taking care of his body off the pitch and in recovery.

In terms of Club Brugge and Wolves, I think we have to go strong away at Brugge and play the U-13s against Wolves at home. I kid of course but if we don't win against Wolves, we deserve to lose the title

I just realized I never checked back in last week.

We didn’t get there as early as I originally expected. We took the tube to the Holloway Road station and went straight to the Armory. After a loop around the stadium the club gates opened so we went in early.

We ate and I had a few pints while my son watched warmups and called his teammates to tell them about it. Timber’s goal was right in front of us. Enjoyed the “Harry! Harry! What’s the score?” chant in the second half.

After the game the Holloway station was closed for 60 minutes so we walked to Highbury where we then had to wait for the Bayern fans to be escorted through. It was a great night all around and my son loved it.

How about that Leeds match yesterday?
