Had to pick the ball or one of the world’s best goal scorers. Sometimes it’s okay to give the other team some credit.

1-1 would be if he had at at Liverpool too

Gabriel doesn’t have it…
Coming off surgery I give him a pass in his pace. But then he has to know he can’t play higher up until he’s comfortable at a full sprint back.
I just think the Trossard thing is dumb. We were willing to sell him and now starting one of our biggest league games. He’s prob more suited for the midweek cup games. We bought Eze, play him.

And he did neither

Oh well. They all make mistakes. It’s a fricking game.

No central defender on the planet can run with Haaland. It’s like AFTV on here. And I’ve met Robbie and Troopz.

Gabriel went for the tackle high up, he was goal side on halaand. Halaand then destroys him on the sprint. Gabriel is jogging. It’s not even close. He made the mistake trying to make that tackle so high.
Watch it back.
Watch it back.

Useful guy off the bench, I’d rather see Eze/Noni/Martinelli playing that spot
You’re coming off a 5 day break, port vale on Wednesday, just 0 excuse for not playing your best 11

Kinda sucks because we are right back to where we will have to play Saka all the time. Maybe Martinelli can play there and Dowman obviously as well but we need guys to eat minutes on the right when games aren't in jeopardy. Hell I'm fine with Nwaneri playing there some a bit too

What are you guys' thoughts on the goal celebration after Martinelli's equalizer ? I feel like a team with a title mentality snatches that ball out of the net and everyone sprints back to their own half ready for the whistle to blow and restart play. It is a huge point in a title race that, in my opinion, is going to come down to only a couple points but it just seemed like the breakthrough came and the Gunners kind of settled in that moment. At a time in the match where City's rattled (especially Donnarumma who'd put together a MOTM type performance up to that point) and the Emirates is absolutely rocking. Just curious on this boards' thoughts ? Good luck the rest of the way in all competitions.

I was like WTF at first but might as well celebrate when VAR is taking 2 minutes to review anyways

Just watched the replay. Never thought I'd be in the year 2025 and Pep Guardiola would be playing Brexit Ball parking the double decker bus.

He isn't ever going to run with Haaland, pre-surgery, after surgery or at 20 years old. Haaland is an exceptional athlete.

Couple videos out there of Zubi going to get the ball to bring it out and City players are basically stopping him. Martinelli celebrated, no problem with that. Raya was celebrating with Eze who were both already in our end. Feels like much ado about nothing.
Salah did a knee slide last year when Liverpool equalized late in the first game last year. City celebrated by throwing the ball at Gabriel after celebrating at the Ethiad last year. A lot of “football twitter” gets their rocks off for critiquing everything single thing Arsenal does. Lots of pundits today for Pep running out a 5-5-0 formation to “see the game out” and Arsenal were HEAVILY criticized last year for doing the same, down a man at the Ethiad last year
Videos for reference:

Back in the states from my UK visit. Posting some pics of the Forest match. It didn't disappoint. I wish it wasn't a 12:30 kick off, but was able to get a few pints in before. Thanks blueman for the hospitality!

Now that I rewatched it VAR did take their time reviewing it for a possible offsides. Makes more sense.

So much for Saka getting any rest

Watched back the goal Haaland scored, Gabriel kinda fricked that whole sequence up for jumping Haaland needlessly, pretty much through the rest of the shape out of whack
