Very much enjoy the Rice x MLS Midfield. Rice being the DM destroyer has been awesome to see

Ben White has been amazing for about 160 straight minutes. 1 game a week now. He will be rested and he's in form. So happy for him

Thankfully for him (and us) he's played some lower quality right wingers these past 2 matches

Not sure if someone talked about it yet but Berta getting after with Simeone had me dying.

Atletico will hate us even more when we sign Alvarez in the summer

I'm kinda off Alvarez based on these 2 games. Was essentially a non-factor.

Need someone to replicate pre injury Jesus, I don't think Alvarez is that guy, and definitely not for the reported price. If you keep Havertz & Vik, take a flyer on a young guy for cheap that is really good at dribbling or box movement or something

To be fair to Alvarez, we quite literally have 2 of the top 3 CBs in world football today. He was the only Atleti player that gave us something to think about across both legs

Alvarez has also been playing through injury the past two games.

Yep. He's only played CL and the Copa Del Rey Final. I don't even think he's training.

Merino was back on the grass kicking a ball around, so he might be back this season

If I had to watch a Bayern style backline I'd have a rage fit. Reminds me of Sideshow Bob days.

Kiwior obligation to buy deal went final the other day. Porto loved him and he did great for them in winning the Portuguese league this year as a starting CB.

We bought him for 17 Mil and sold him for 26 Mil. 1.7 Mil Loan fee for this year also so we got a little over 10 Million in pure profit for that deal. He did a great job for us last year and did even better this year. Good for him.

I thought I read 17m flat+5m add ons +2m sell on. Adding this years loan fee gets you 26m rounded up.

So I'm thinking possible total of 26m out of the deal.

And they put a 70m release clause on him.

We sold him for far too little, but it's whatever. Come out a little ahead after amortization.

Pays for a bit of the Hincapie fee. We should be able to level him out with Vieria and Nelson

I wonder if we will be able to move Nelson. Injuries have really killed him. He only played 13 games last season and 13 this season.

I don't know about all of them but Dembele has had injuries.

Some of our players minutes are also for injury reasons. Like if Odegaard had more minutes would Eze and or zubi have less? The first wast ham game we did the rice, Odegaard, Eze midfield but Odegaard got hurt and it didn't last.

I hear the French league is still a physical league, but Portugal has more teams in the higher rankings than France does. And I don't know if Portugal moves games for one club.

Nice that we control our own destiny. I am so pleasantly surprised that City got nicked. A double would be a resounding way to break the trophy-less streak.
