Nelson sub was worth nothing. They just can’t shoot for shite, so many opportunities and great passes and all for naught. Saka looks really tired. Let’s hope this isn’t a trend and just a bad game

I want ESR to start over Martinelli at Fulham.

Happy to see Kai back in the left 8 as well.

Well there it is. The big save.

Man what a shite game.

Back to the drawing board. Hopefully we can get Tomi and partey back sooner than later. I really don’t like trossard in the midfield. I’d rather see zinchenko play there honestly.

We need a major reset and evacuation across the board particularly on offense. Both Saka and Martinalli may need to sit a few, come off the bench or something.

Partey and Tomiyasu love being injured and when they aren't they love going off with their national teams to get injured. Guess what starts in 2 weeks? AFCON and the Asian Cup. Both Ghana and Japan have to be conaidered favorites so don't expect them back til mid to late February. And when they do come back, add another 4 weeks for a hamstring or groin injury.

I shite you not, I think Timber will be back playing a game before both of those two do.

Reminding me of my son’s club team, took about 50 attempts to get a damn goal. They could have 99% possession and lose and did a few times.

He lost a state championship on an out of bounds goal like their first one two, except it much much worse.

3 goals in 4 games isn’t going to win any championships. They need to work on shooting all day every day. They need to find someone that can put the damn ball into the back of the net.

Let’s go get Toney or they better find someone who can shoot the damn ball

I didn’t get to watch the game. What happened? Too many passes in the attacking third? Did the team look tired?

We can’t be coming up blank against mid-tier teams too many times. fricking frustrating loss.

We tend to think 10 consecutive passes in the box = a goal. Stats are completely misleading other than the possession. 75% of the touches in box were of no threat to WH.

Still had a xG of 2.68 so it’s not like we didn’t have good chances. Finishing was just shite.

Just read a stat that we had 77 touches in the opponents box, the most ever recorded in a Premier league game for a team that didn’t score

ETA: we really need a big striker that is an aerial threat. Teams continue to stack the box against us which is exactly what I would do.

Giroud would be perfect for this squad. He'd be missing chances left and right

Yeah I keep forgetting the year is basically over and even if healthy they are gone. I just think we need 3 players. Defender, midfield and striker. But we prob can’t get all three at the level we need.

We have come a long way. And I’m not saying I dislike where we are at. I just want more. But Arteta has made some questionable decisions.

Okay, you can’t account for timber. But you let tierney go out for a loan after that happens.

You resign Nelson, but he kind of gets time and some of the time he does is impactful, others it’s erratic. Maybe because the time isn’t consistent?

Last season you don’t really play a healthy esr and mention a few training issues. To now praising how amazing he is and a beast in training to relegating him to no sub or the last fricking sub when the game is over?

Idk. It’s frustrating as frick. The fans got frustrated today. And that hasn’t happened in 18 months.

Also want to remind all of you, I bet Arsenal to win the league last season. I really felt it. Just don’t this season. So don’t go thinking I don’t believe in what we are doing. But it’s sports, other teams are trying to win too.

Zinchenko happened and I would say Areola came up with two big saves. But everyone else here thinks your gk should be a midfielder.

To be fair, Tierney would be decent cover right bow but he didn't have as good of a technical ability as other players around him.

Let's not forget that's he's out for like 3 or 4 months already in Spain. Dude loves an injury more than Partey and Tomiyasu

We basically had the ball the whole time took tons of shots, missed.

They countered ball went out but they scored, couldn’t overrule it on review even though it looked out wasn’t conclusive so they had first goal and parked the bus. They scored another one on a set play corner that was really just very good play.

In sum, we have scored 3 or 4 goals in last 4 games or so and that’s not going to work

I just don’t get the subs from Arteta. Never giving ESR time (except extra time minutes) even in foregone games. Reiss is another guy who could flourish with more minutes. Martinelli could be rotated.

Our possession-type offense is pretty to watch and most of the time it works. Funny we have the same wastefulness and inefficiency problems we did in Arsene’s last few seasons.

It is what it is, but sometimes I wish we had a more vertical and direct attack like Liverpool.

Zinchenko out with a calf injury today.

Our LBs love injuries.

Honestly looking forward to Kiwior. We won't control the game as well but man we all just need a Zinchenko break for a little while.

Don't mind Zinny out, also don't mind seeing Jesus get some rest either. Would like to see Martinelli either have a bounce back game where he dominates today, or get rest.
