Surprised Arteta opted for Vieira over havertz today. Also finally glad to see Raya get the start. Hopefully it’ll give Ramsdale the kick to turn his level up a notch.

Snoozer of a game. These are they types we lose in final two minutes of extra time on a counter.

Raya dealing with balls in the air better than Ramsdale it seems. He is also better at distributing the ball with his feet. Ramsdale really worries me with corners/crosses, I don't think he's bad in the other areas, but I get nervous each time there is a set play to defend.

To be fair, Raya really had nothing to do other than a few routine catches in the air. Can’t see Everton avoiding relegation this year.

Great game. First win at Everton in 5 years! Pure domination also. Do not care if games are like that as long as we win!

Champions League on Wednesday Night at the Emirates!

I feel the exact same. Ramsdale gives me anxiety when he is on the ball.
Another solid performance, can’t wait for Wednesday.

I want to be really excited about this win and really I should be, but I am really worried about our consistent inability to take advantage of our chances. The GD is a real problem to me.

Someone tell me why I am wrong. I desperately want to be wrong. Please….

lack of goals is probably just down to the fact that Jesus has started zero games with a grand total of 39 minutes of league action. Granted Nketiah hasn’t been bad, but Jesus interchanges with Martinelli a lot and that was very beneficial last season.

I think we’re also missing Xhaka (which shouldn’t be a huge surprise, but to some people on twitter it is). It’ll take time for Havertz to grow into that role if that is his actual role moving forward. Vieira looks promising on that side though.

The goals conceded can probably be penciled down as problems with Arteta experimenting during the latter stages of a game, which on the one hand I can understand but on the other it has cost us points.

Lastly I think we just need to wait for guys to play more. As weird as it sounds, I don’t think they’re necessarily in “season” form yet. Still pretty early, relatively speaking. Hopefully ESR will get some minutes here soon, and Reese can give Saka a much needed break. The Trossard wonder goal today was his first league goal since February 11th, so maybe he’ll get going especially if Martinelli is out for a while.

We have 6 games in the next 18 days. Hopefully we are able to rotate and spread out some minutes.

To be fair, Ramsdale fricks those up sometimes.

Felt incredible more secure with Raya in possession than I do with Ramsdale.

I'm headed to the NLD this weekend. Should be a great one.

Really hope we can capitalize early.
