Ngl I would’ve subbed off Vieira for Ø instead of Reiss for Saka. Didn’t think Reiss played too bad and Saka can come on in extra time if need be

Idk I def blame ramsdale on that. Looks like it deflected possibly off Gabriel, but it’s still 50 yards away and just whiffed the save.

Saliba being out makes us have to sit further in our own half with Holding playing. He is incapable of holding a high line with Gabriel. Like utterly unable to.
Saliba allows us to pin defenses back. Holding is hesitant to push up do to lack of pace and passing ablility.

That was the most torn I’ve ever been watching a penalty shootout. Definitely wanted to win, but at the same time it’s much better for our title chances now that we are not having the Thursday-Sunday games
