Glad White is off. Wish Martinelli had stayed.

Do you realize that this ref has only yellow card to saka for a flop when he was clearly fouled this is some third world shite.

As many yellows off the pitch as on. Referee has done nothing to discourage the persistent fouling.

Good change, but 15 minutes too late. Someone needs to remind Arteta he has 5 subs.

Takes 93 minutes for the “Saints” to get a card!

Xhaka was sent off for that before.

What a shite game.

Ref was horrid, but really came down to us not putting away chances.

Jesus needed to bury one of his many chances in the first half. This team still lacks a striker.

subs did nothing to influence the game in their favor

jesus needs to get out of this funk soon

still top of the table but they haven’t played like it

That sucked. Hate to blame a ref, but the tone was set early on that nothing was going to be a foul in the attacking half. Not sure how a team is supposed to deal with getting mugged over and over again.

Also obvious our guys are gassed. Passes were slow, they looked a couple steps slower than usual. Hopefully we don’t play many normal starters this Thursday. They need a break

Some of the lads are starting to look a little gassed and ragged. Need to start making some subs, or a rotation.

We are completely gassed. Need to be very careful and if anything it shows signings will be critical next window.

Let’s be honest, that was really totally shite after first 20 minutes, and definitely second half we were basically done trying to hang on.

We are lucky to get a point. Thats Totally on Artetta, they were clearly gassed way too early coming off a Thursday game. The subs he put in were totally shite too. What did they lose the ball 30 times in last 20 minutes. They looked like they were asleep in a daze or something. I think they were surprised to be playing.

The shite ref didn’t help, but they are a lot of shite refs in the league but gunners looked a lot like last year, except they didn’t lose.

Jesus couldn’t score with platinum card in a whore house right now, it’s in his head too. Get with sports shrink.

Defense was generally good until they got completely gassed but no way tomatzo should have finished the game. He damn near gave up 3 goals. He is the new Xhaka. (Who was actually one of few bright spots)

Subs are not just a thing the Nazis used in WW2, why have a deep bench but you just aren’t going to use it. (please come back soon ESR.)

We are suddenly a terrible shooting team again, maybe it’s just fatigue but not getting second goal despite half a dozen good chances usually will get your arse beat.

Also, even more frustrating we were soft, basically played like pussys the entire second half. Maybe we need an enforcer or tough mean mfer in the January trade window. If they aren’t going to call shite then foul every time too.

Could have been worst, could have been a loss but they are going to have to make significant adjustments to these 48 hour turnaround games.

We need another queen to pass or something, for a break maybe but they look like they all just ran a 26 mile marathon after first 20 minutes.

Artetta has his work cut out for him
now are we might start a steak of bad games.

agreed

we all knew the conditioning of these players would be tested this month

am just happy none caught the injury bug besides esr

it’s unfortunate our bench is void of talent to start in the PL to give our starters some rest

they will serviceable come fa/carabao cup games but i don’t trust them to play big minutes in the PL

I was pretty surprised how overmatched Vieira looked. He’s been pretty good in Europa League, but he looked like he didn’t belong on the pitch today.

How many times did he and Partey give the ball away in the last 15 min or so?

Really missed Zinchenko today. And this compressed window for the bribed midseason WC isn’t helping either (thanks, Sepp!) But at least we didn’t have Bruno getting run at or fouling in the box, so that’s progress. We do need a more physical midfielder for games where we get CONCACAF’ed.

Missed the game yesterday because I had a game at the same time. I think I jinxed us saying we hadn’t tied since January. But I saw the Jesus penalty shout and holy shite I can’t believe that wasn’t called.

Please apologize to the soccer gods and do your penance!

Other than not putting away our chances, I think we miss putting on ESR to change things up a bit up top. Hopefully we are still top 2 before the Jan window, get ESR back, and add more firepower(winger) and a DCM during the window.

Just watched the extended highlights and feel kind of the same as the PSV match - missing that finishing touch. Must be more clinical in front of goal. Also pretty sloppy in midfield. Got to stay strong to the WC break and start getting guys back.
