Thursday is going to be a tough game at PSV.

Thankfully we've got Nottingham Forest at home to end the month of October.

Regardless of how Sunday played out we're still first in PL and EL.

Boys are gassed, but 9 games in a month is the most Arsenal have played since 1966. I mean we should expect tired legs at this point. The good thing is that every other team has those as well so it is not like we aren't in the same boat.

What is really hurting us is injuries to Elneny and ESR. If both of them were fully fit then a few of those starters could get more rest.

Regardless I think we are doing fine, some better finishing in the final third and those 1-0 are worse and that draw vs Southampton was a win.

We will be fine and we move on!

Can secure top of the group today boys. Put it away today and can play the kids before we go away to Stamford Bridge next week.

Pretty strong lineup. Saka with a bit of rest, but still plenty of starters out there.

Arteta wants to put it to bed. I suspect it will be a tough game.

Man without esr we really do look weak in the forward positions.

I would still like us to get a winger and a cm in January.

70%+ possession, but still struggling to get off good chances. The attacking players have hit a bit of a lull lately it seems.

Not ideal. Very fortunate to not be trailing at half. I'm worried Arteta brings on more starters only for them to get tired prior to the weekend.

Lack of depth is really starting to show.

Got to get folks healthy and be active in the January window. As long as we draw this, I’ll feel ok with how strong a team we have. Seems like we’re stuck in 2nd gear.

Arteta was going to bring on Partey early in the half even before conceding. Odegaard off for Parety, and Saka on for Lokonga. Arsenal have all the possession but nothing threatening near goal; meanwhile, PSV are very direct on attack.

Ramsdale with another error on a corner, came out to punch it clear but whiffed. This is getting concerning from him.

Holding off now for Jesus. Arteta still going for it. The attack has been incredibly lackluster, which going along with Jesus' current run of form is getting a little scary.

About the worst thing you could have hoped for. Throw out a strong team, and lose. Ramsdale having a shocker.

After he made the Saka and Partey subs he was fully committed, and has now doubled down by bringing on Jesus as well.

PSV has scored 5 times this match, 3 disallowed for offsides.

Our defense was atrocious this game. I mean truly atrocious.

2 goals and they scored 3 others that were barely offsides!

Thank God, and I truly mean Thank God that we only have to beat or draw to Zurich to miss out on two other games

Arteta brought on basically the entire starting XI for the final 20 minutes. Still have Nketiah and Vieira out there, and no Zinchenko today, along with Odegaard getting subbed off early.

The defense has been very poor, and the attack has been pathetic as well. Just an incredibly disappointing performance from everyone.

Really bad performance today. Hopefully they use this as a wake up call. Capable of so much better.

On top of all that, apparently Pablo Mari(TYFYS) got stabbed in a shopping mall in Italy today.

The one game I decide not to watch seems like it was our worst this season.

And yeah I saw that Mari had been stabbed in Milan.

Oh god, what the frick were we wearing? Doesn’t even look like Arsenal on the highlights.

My hot takes:

We desperately need Zinchenko back. He was massive part of the reason we destroyed teams early on.

In regards to Sambi, I think he just isn't good enough. God bless him but he's 23 and I don't think he lasts much longer here.

This. He and Martinelli had a really nice partnership on the left side that let Tomiyasu & Saka work up the right side. Up the middle has always been a weakness, except for Odegaard. Matches every three days for two more weeks! Must win today against bottom of the table, must have a result against Zurich to avoid some really good teams dropping out of the UCL. After that, some manageable league games, then a much-needed break. Still no striker, though, and these two CBs are not good enough to win any hardware. Jesus must start scoring or its time to open up the checkbook again.

Big game today, hopefully a return to the Emirates gets us back on track because we have been pretty poor the last few weeks.

And, right on cue, another misfire from Jesus.
