Was at the game last night and I couldn't find Leno and Torreira anywhere.

Looks like Lucas flew back to Italy, not sure what that means though. He may end up being another we have to let go for nothing. Although I’m tired of doing this. He’s on a contract and obligated to participate.

Seems like we are haggling over a few million for Leno. Maybe trying to get Fulham to meet us in the middle.

So this is how the roster currently looks heading into the season. Players in parentheses are who I expect to be sold/loaned. And some play multiple positions so they are listed where I think they will play most.

GK: Ramsdale, Turner (Leno, Runarsson)
FB: Tierney, Tomi, Cedric (Bellerin, Nuno)
CB: Gabriel, White, Holding, Saliba (Mari)
Midfield: Xhaka, Elneny, Partey, Odegaard, Zinchenko, Lokanga, Viera (Torreira, AMN)
Wingers: Saka, Martinelli, ESR, Marquinhos (Pepe, Reiss)
Forwards: Jesus, Nketiah (Balogun)

Looking at this list, I think we would like to find a back up to Saka and probably one more midfielder. If we can grab another central midfielder, I would loan out Sambi so he can get consistent minutes in a top-five league. Either way on paper we are much more solid than last year.

Yeah that puts us at 23?

Don’t forget someone like a Nelson or balogun could potentially stick around till the World Cup and play the early stages of the shite tournaments. We are playing every few days until the break for the World Cup. Plus 5 subs.

I definitely think we are going to be stuck with a few players we aren’t going to offload, I think either Nelson or Pepe will be here for the first half of the season. I’m curious what they do with Balogun, he definitely needs consistent minutes.
And during his last interview Arteta said Zinchenko is going to be primarily a left back, so that still leaves a need at left center mid. But we’ve seen this the last 2 seasons and we all know deep down it will be Xhaka there again next season.

This has been a thorough domination these first 40 minutes. Jesus is a legitimate, world class potential striker. Martinelli with a slick pass to Odegaard for the goal. The potential of this team makes me super excited

Jesus is the most underrated striker in PL history. The most important stat for a striker is his G/A ratio per 90 minutes. He is at .90. The second best in history. Henry and Aguero are tied for first at .91. He’s going to be 20/10 type player for years.

Texted my Brazilian buddy and he said he’s dropping a rack on Brazil this winter if Jesus and Martinelli keep this up. Told him I was thinking about throwing some on them too

Yall think Martinelli is for sure starter match in match out at left wing, or will he rotate with ESR once he is healthy?

Sort of a fantasy question

Rebel I’m throwing down on Brazil. Threw down on France and Croatia last time just looking at the midfielders.
