Oh there’s no doubt they have the talent advantage and talent depth.
Put with the start we had, you could have lost to them a combined 30-0 and still should have walked away with the league

Depth was always going to do us in. It was a matter of time. That being said, the league as I have said before was lost against the bottom teams.

The lack of depth wasn’t a problem until the injuries hit. They are significantly better than us it’s just that simple and really always were.
We meet our goal for the year which was Champions League. It’s that simple

Depth has killed us back to back seasons, that said, we learned last year and got Kiwior and Jorginho in January.
I think adding Caicedo/Rice and someone like Kudus in midfield and then a replacement for Holding maybe Ndicka will be great.
Great goal Holding. fricking Trossard with yet another assist

Reiss Nelson has been really good in his limited minutes this year. Love that kid. Hope he signs a new deal

Holding gave up a goal scored one so he is even.
They just look tired, they have run out of gas. We need at least 6 better back up players
Sign Declan Rice asap

Well next game against Chelsea who hasn’t won a game in 5 matches against us who haven’t won in 4 matches, someone probably has to win

Hey there my man.
I’ll be at Finn’s for Arsenal/Chelsea. Let’s split a bucket of tears for the lost title?!

The most lack luster offense in the premier league out side of Everton. Hmmm. Seems like a trap game for us these days.

You’re not wrong. It was so exciting being caught up in the title chase. It is still a possibility if Zeus decides to sort some shite out.
At the end of the day, where we were and where we are, (outside of our April chaos) is a massive improvement. We have conviction with our name again. It’s been a while.
I’m not settling. I am proud of our team and hope we can make a run over the next few years. This is exactly what we need to pull in great players and expand our depth.
I really want to see Arteta continue his vision and continue to strengthen the team and keep opponents wary.
Let’s snap out of this; run a train on Chelsea and not lose at St. James’ Park to my wife’s team. Please, Señor Arteta, beat Newcastle!
eta: possessive of SJP. please forgive me, I’ve had a few pints in England. Happy to return home Friday!

Which is why you need depth. We were fortunate that the World Cup only set us back 1 player. Massive step in the right direction this year…..with the youngest team and manager.

we actually kind of have been hit with injuries this year.
we all know about jesus.
But esr has had a wasted season basically. Nelson was injured and then had a set back. Elneny had season ending injury. Tomi has had injury problems. And Saliba will have missed the final like 9 games of the season.
Also we had guys getting sick. I think Xhaka missed more games being sick than he did from getting cards. I know Friday wasnt the first one he missed through illness or even came out early one game? I could be misremembering that.

Yeah Ted Lasso couldn’t even help us. It sucks but to me it’s better than losing a heart breaking game in final minutes but that said if we don’t stop giving up goals in last minute or so of games that’s coming too.
We have secured Champions league it’s time to have some fun. I want to see ESR play a half at Least, he has to get back in the horse.
Trousard needs to start, etc let’s shuffle the deck a little.

This team and coach don’t deserve to win the PL cup. Man City is a human cheat code.
Quite a noteworthy enough accomplishment to return to CL football. Seems like it’s been forever. Arteta has staked out a solid marker as to whether or not he’s the long term answer on the Arsenal sideline.
