I keep trying to ignore it because Cech has been so good. But yes, he is slowing down. That second goal was on him.

Is Wojo ready to come back? What kind of progress has he been making in Italy?

I never lose hope for the gunners and have been that way since I learned about the team when I visited England 14 years ago when I was in 5th grade. I'm new to this thread and I thought I'd introduce myself.

Cech's age is showing. I like to read arseblog and he says the defense isn't helping him out to the point where he called mustafi overrated after last match.

Welcome, and thanks for your service.

I haven't lost hope either. It's no fun when hope is lost. There's a lot of football to be played, including Champions League.

I think it's time to rotate Coquelin out, if Elneny is ready to play vs Bayern. We've been really poor when he plays, and he was too slack on Deeny's goal for Watford and Hazard's goal for Chelsea.

I'd love to see this lineup vs. Bayern

Ospina
Gabriel-Mustafi-Kosc-Gibbs
Elneny-Xhaka
Walcott-Ozil-Iwobi
Alexis

Could put Welbeck or Perez in for Walcott.

I think Bellerin would be out, so having Gibbs roaming forward and Gabriel sitting back, rather than Hector roaming forward and Monreal sitting a bit deeper, would balance the back four.

I think Xhaka-Elneny would be our best CM combo with Ramsey out.

Maybe we could try Monreal or Gibbs on the right side because I don't feel safe anymore with Gabriel playin there.... And I want Welbeck to start since he seems to be getting us going when he comes on. Still got faith that we can pull off a win against Bayern!

I think I would start Danny or Lucas over Iwobi for that game, but that's just me.
Otherwise I can't disagree with your other points

He hasn't been terrible, I know he had some blunders in that first season.

I thought I saw somewhere though that cech has never saved a penalty and csez has saved 4 or 5. So that's one thing he seems better at.

One thing to think about, at what point do you start benching higher paid players if they don't perform? Some, Wenger has no prob sitting on the bench. We are trying to win matches, I don't really care how much their transfer fee was.

One thing that everyone has probably noticed is how important a player like cazorla is to us. I was watching the other day and our midfield stability is weak. Since that second half giveaway to $hitty our form hasn't really recovered. I mean it's great and all putting 5 on the board on bottom dwellers but form's been terrible against better teams. Our defense relies on that midfield backbone because of the high line. Past two years we "had a plan B" but this year we have to be more stubborn. This is what I've noticed.

We loaned out the closest player we have to Cazorla. Loaning Wilshere was really a very bad move.

Would love any of 3 mentioned as a possible replacement.

Allegri, Tuchel & Jardim are on shortlist to replace Wenger if he leaves at the end of the season, @TeleFootball report. #afc

I'd throw in Sampaoli and that is a good foursome to pick from.

The way Jardim has Monaco this season I wouldn't be opposed to his hiring.
Would love a big name like Allegri but I also want someone that'll stay at Arsenal for years to come.

Just imagine if we got Jardim from Monaco just like we did Wenger (ignore his Japanese hiatus). Could be several special years ahead.
Look at how he's got Falcao back in great form again this season after what he did the last 2 seasons. Imagine if he was working with Alexis, Theo, Lucas, Giroud & Danny.

He is honestly so good and he's only 18..... Crazy. We need to jump on him soon.

Like Henry...

I think this was Özil's worst game at Arsenal. He was dreadful today.
