It really is Les Miles all over again.

Let's at least win the FA and send him out on something.

We need a keeper y'all.

Plus, are debuchy and jenk hurt? I like Gabriel, but he's not a RB. Same as monreal is not a CB.

Same problems over and over again.

no, we need proper defensive shape in the midfield and at the back and cover for our keeper y'all.

Ospina isn't bad. I think he should be given a shot right now. See if he's good enough.

We need a coach who can teach defensive positioning. Hell, positioning all over the field is a problem for us, really.

We need Ospina to get game time before the game at Bayern.. and if he seizes that opportunity like he did 14/15 then he should be our starting keeper

Idk, I wish Jenko would play more and Gabriel would play his normal position.. some people seem to forget he never played RB.

We need to
1) Go get a dang Pacey striker like Lacazette or Greizmann and spend the dang money
2) Get a replacement for Monreal
3) Go get Begovic or a world class keeper

Our first choice CF leads the league in goals. Not the problem.

We just bought our young LB. Montreal is one of our top five players.

Would absolutely help. Ospina needs to finish the season as our No. 1. Cech has done nothing to show he can win us points in a long time.

Jenkinson is terrible. He was terrible when he played earlier this year and is still terrible. Gabriel isn't ideal at RB but he was pretty good yesterday.

Our issue is, has always been, and will always be under Wenger our lack of defensive organization and shape.

Ozil's defensive deficiencies don't help.

The modern premier league requires 1) superb team defending and 2) superb one on one attackers. You must be supremely organized and have players capable of breaking down defenses with rapid one on one play.

My fixes would be to sell Ozil this summer and transition to a sturdier midfield. Pay Alexis whatever he wants to stay.

Xhaka and Ramsey have promise together. Ramsey will thrive in a midfield three if he can get healthy.

Ox, Elneny, Coq and Jack are sufficient cover.

We have lots of attacking options.

The squad is fine, and only needs a couple additions. Wenger's idealism is the problem. It's an outdated philosophy that no longer can work.

I'll add this: we lost the league and Chelsea won it when they beat us and everyone else for Kante. He is the most important player in the Premier League. He's absolutely brilliant.

Of course Arsene comes out now and said we tried to sign Kante. He does this often. Saying we tried to sign this guy or that guy after they have become successful somewhere else. Is knowing that you failed to sign a player that could make a difference going to lessen our frustration?

I just thought the diff in reaction times and getting down was really noticeable between he an courtois. He's a good keeper, just getting older. And of course directly responsible for a goal. That wasn't on the defense even though the two CBS were dog shite.

I don't think Gabriel is terrible but he may have put one cross in. He gives you nothing going forward.

It may be time to stop assuming this is possible.

I mean no doubt keep Giroud as a super sub but we need some pace to be dangerous. When we have pace up top we are unstoppable with a full squad. And Monreal is just meh in my opinion but I most likely don't appreciate him enough

Monreal was ridiculously consistent last season. Very good from start to finish. His form has been a bit patchy this season. Nacho has had some good performances and some subpar ones. He's getting older so he may be declining a bit. Gibbs has been solid when called on this season so I wouldn't mind seeing him get starts if Monreal is struggling.

Monreal wasn't an issue, at times he has,but he actually got forward well and got the assist.

To be fair to him, Iwobi has come on much better and I felt early on wasn't much help out there defensively to monreal. Not like the Theo we saw at the begging of season.

So at beginning of season bellerin getting help from Walcott, now monreal has a muched improved Iwobi and has had Sanchez out wide more often this past month or so to help out.

Looking forward to next season, we need a new LB to take over for when Monreal leaves.
I hate to say it but if we are resorted to losing one of the Ozil/Alexis duo it has to be Ozil.
Alexis always works hard no matter what is going on. Ozil disappears for "big" games (and some not so big).
Besides, we have plenty of cover for his position, especially if we stopped playing with a traditional 10.
There's not much anyone, apart from maybe Griezmann, who can replace Alexis.
