Arsene deserves to be raked over the coals in the media for putting in Flamini.

One of most confusing subs I've ever seen the guy make

It would be nice going into the second leg of a CL round of 16 match with a ghost of a chance.

Ehhh we knew we were fricked when we got this draw. Thought we played well and just hope we build on it in the league.

Aaron blows so hot and cold and his mistakes are very frustrating. His constant screaming for the ball drives me nuts too. But when he's on his game, he helps push the entire team forward and is irreplaceable. Arsenal will continue to be faced with the big question of fitting both Jack and Aaron on the field. If Barca came with a 40m offer for Ramsey, I wouldn't be too devastated.

This result really sucks. They were in the game until that deadly counter and the Flamini sub flat out sucked. No excuse to not convert some of those chances when you are playing the best team in the world.

And Alba can get fricked, what a POS.

Why anyone would pay 40m for Ramsey is beyond me. If he could learn to limit his game, he'd be far better. Instead he runs around, tries to Hollywood everything instead of making the right decision. He can be absolutley brilliant but has been average the last two seasons or so.

What a frustrating game. Again we show a massive lack of composure when it counts. That's what's been consistent the past five years or so. For 70 minutes we played well and then lose sight of the goal. Coming away with a 0-0 result would have been optimal. It's pathetic to watch.

He's just been himself. His great 2013 season was the aberration. This is who he is as a player. He's a backup on a serious CL contender.

Jack and Aaron

Jack is Diaby 2.0. If he ever stays healthy and gives you anything it is a bonus moving forward.

Yeah per is just way too slow. He wasn't even terrible today outside the pk (although that was a big mistake) but we have to upgrade his spot.

He was playing really well in the double pivot at the end of 2012/2013. Watch those games at the end of that season and you think you see a player who has grown up.

We have the upgrade already on the team. Gabriel is a better CB for the system we insist on playing.

We also don't have a RM. Walcott sucks and ox sucks, Campbell is OK.

His arrogance is killing this team. Again, we get a good run from coquelin and he thinks all the problems are solved. No Arsene, you've needed to buy a defensive midfielder since before song left.

We really needed Gabriel today. Hector had to limit his attacking fb role to hang back and protect Per.

Necessary strategy, but you need as few constraints as possible playing Barcelona.

If Giroud had done it, he's off. That's a fact. I don't give a shite if it was nothing and Alaba is tiny, the rules are the fricking rules.

thought Giroud was really poor as well. How can a striker never once think to shoot the ball when he's in the box, rather than continue to do his silly 1 touch flicks/passes to a player 2 yards away with 3 defenders inbetween.

They lack the killer instinct, it's been this way under Arsene for far too long.

And honestly Arsenal should have taken a point. Barcelona was not at their best today and actually looked like Arsenal at times. Just a lot of passes creating nothing.

Giroud's gone 8 matches without a goal. I say start Welbeck up top, Campbell on the right next match out.

I expected nothing from this match. The shame is Barca were off and we could've got a point. We were never advancing from this draw though. We made our bed in the group stages.

We need upgrades at RW, CF, CB, and CM to be able to win these kinds of home and aways.

The ideal situation is to win the Prem, win our group, get a good draw, and make a run at the final ala Chelsea in 2012.

Hopefully we start that process this year by winning the league.

I agree. But still we need to upgrade from Per because there are always injuries.

I think Callum and Gabriel have the chance to be a special pairing in defense.

We'll also need to buy a RB for cover (or bring back Jenko, who is perfectly fine cover IMO).

I'm still in shock about Flamini. I know we don't want to rush Elneny, but he's played in the CL before. Goddamn, just when I thought I was done with Flam he keeps popping up.

I agree with this. The only thing is Arsene will not buy at all these positions without selling someone. I think we can wait another year at CB. Gabs looks like a solid defender and Mert is not a terrible option as our 3rd choice Cb. Plus Chambers has shown well in the few opportunities he has had. In order to fill RW, CF, and CM I believe we should sell Ramsey and either Theo or Ox. Ramsey has yet to match his breakout season. He really doesn't fit in at CM as he is more of an attacking midfielder. There are rumors that teams are interested in him and for the right price I would let him go. The same for Theo and Ox. I believe that another EPL team would be interested in either one of them. Plus the fact that they are English will raise the price. With all that said we have to willing to spend big this summer and I don't know if Wenger has it in him.
