Wenger, Belicheck and Popovich are the best professional team coaches on the planet. On the road in one of the most hostile environments in team sports and we fricking destroyed a team that hasn't lost domestically. Our chances of going through were almost zero and we did. It is all about the club and Manager. #InArseneWeTrust

I can honestly say that I didn't think they would pull it off. But low and behold, they come through in the clutch.

Top of the table men.

Love me some Ramsey. Theo with a great day too.

Theo looked much better today than he did midweek. Sort of massively worried about our midfield against City next week.

Another understated, yet brilliant, match from Ozil. Top of the table until Vardy scores 6 against Chel$ki tomorrow.

Exactly what was needed. If you told me in August that Arsenal will be battling for first in December with Leicester, an aging and injury ridden city, and a united side playing the most boring football ever, I would have have taken that to the bank.

If you really boil it down its between us and City for the title. We had a bad November but have bounced back since. The showdown with City will be huge. Ramsey seems to be hitting his best form. Giroud seems to be finally finding the consistency we all called for. Ozil is my POTY.(I see Vardy's goals drying up a bit). Sure we have injuries going into the City game but so do they. No excuses. We need a result from that game mostly for the confidence it would breath into the team. Also French journalist Phillipe Auclair said were a lock to sign someone in January.

ed: Looks like Sanchez has an outside possibility of playing against City.

fricking drew Barca in the CL. UEFA tried to give a break last year and we f'd it up, so I guess they want to get back to bending us over with our R16 matchup.

Let's hope they don't put a dozen past Arsenal and inform Hector of his DNA.

It's always Barca isn't it. Oh well who knows maybe we can pull off the miracle.

Let's recap:
2010 - Barca in the Quarters
2011 - Barca in the Round of 16 (screwed on RVP 2nd Yellow)
2012 - AC Milan in the Round of 16 (after winning group)
2013 - Bayern Munich in the Round of 16
2014 - Bayern Munich in the Round of 16
2015 - Monaco (maybe UEFA screwed up the draw)
2016 - Barca in the Round of 16

Kinda why I didn't get too excited about the win. I mean, I was excited, but we all saw this coming when we fell out of contention for first place in the group.

We'll lose the first leg badly, mount the comeback in the second leg, but come up frustratingly short.

I'll continue to keep all my eggs in the league basket and hope to end up pleasantly surprised and wrong on the CL front.

Well once we go out like Stevie predicted (aka how we now out every year, with a valiant comeback that just isn't quite good enough) we will be able to focus on the league. Silver linings.
