He's playing really well rt now. And yes Arsenal can win with him as a striker, just needs help.

I worry that Giroud and Alexis are ultimately incompatible. I don't have the numbers to back this, but it seems each goes into his best form when the other is out. Their styles don't mesh well at all. Alexis wants to take up a lot of those spaces but isn't huge on combination play with a target forward.

They seemed to be figuring it out a bit more before Alexis got hurt, but I agree. If Alexis could just learn to play off of him it would be great. I don't think they can't fit together, but it is more that they just can't seem to figure it out.

If there was a way too pull it off in January, I would desperately love for us to sign Mahrez. Really fits the type of wide player we could use.

They aren't very good defensively, Kos would easily start and they wanted Ramsey. They have given up points in the last two domestic matches. Are they incredible going forward, yes. We are better at keeper and a much more athletic team. This Barca team isn't nearly as good defensively as the 2011 team.

What would Mahrez add though? Does he defend better than Theo? I don't think it's a position of need though. DM is where we should be focused. Maybe CF.

I just think he would be better than all of our current options on the right and we desperately just need more depth.

When was the last time Theo got a sustained run on the right? AW bailed on it after like 20 minutes against Olympiacos and he started on the left Sunday.

Oh I agree of course, but I really think if there was a place to upgrade it would be RW.

This squad relies too heavily on guys that are frequently injured and that sadly includes Theo.

They were struggling with their graphics there and it was pissing me off

Ramsey's positional discipline needs work. He also needs to not give the ball away when our shape is compromised.

I think that was the capture, but yeah that is sort of my fear. I am just hoping it was because we were playing Villa. If he plays like that on Monday it probably won't be pretty.

Arsene, I think, sees Theo as a CF first and foremost, and a last ditch winger.

Welbeck's out til February now. I wouldn't mind Mahrez at all, he's a great player, but only if we buy at DM and CF first. We may have a problem on our hands with Debuchy, as well.

As for Ramsey's discipline, I think he'll be better vs. City.

"Mahrez is not for sale"

So says Ranieri.

and CF

I just think we had a shite time trying to find one during the summer and it will be even harder in January. I really think we could make up for not really having a 25-30 goal scoring up top if we could get more goals from the right, while getting goals from Alexis on the left.

Yeah it really sounds like he wants out. I think if the Euro's weren't coming up in his home country he wouldn't be making such an uproar about it, but it seems like he really doesn't want to get dropped for that.

Sucks that is sounds like Jenko isn't doing well at West Ham this year.

Yeah not all that surprising. No way are they selling him and Vardy when they are top and have a realistic chance of finishing in the top 4.

barca's reaction to draw

if this is real I don't know how you can go out on that field and not be motivated.
