Yeah I think Arsene's tactics and player management have been pretty shitty lately.

I've sobered up from last night and I'm actually sort of pleased with where we are, minus the defensive depth.

We look to have a pretty pacey front line, our biggest issue last year. We point to the big score lines on the road, but that needs context. We chased those games when we get down and exposed ourselves to goal.

Our biggest issue last year was scoring goals. We only scored 68. We've added pace to our attack and should have plenty of goals in us once we get healthy and on the same page.

If we stay healthy at the back we'll be okay.

Back to full training after the break is what has been touted. Probably means January.

Chambers in August

Our best defender this season. Brilliant.

Alexis in August

Our best attacker thus far. And still figuring it out.

Good stuff. Was that Olsson who played the ball for that goal?

Crowley looks a talent. Where's Zelalem playing in these matches? Deeper?

he's been playing no 10 in a 4231 when he starts. crowley left, amn right, akpom CF. he needs to start showing out in these youth matches.

TGSTEL had a wonderful backheel flick in Denmark's friendly. Shame we let such quality go.

Chambers and Alexis are going to be great. Hell, they already are.

Thanks for those links.

Added Welbeck on FIFA14. We're fricking awesome. My preferred 11:

Shez
Debuchy- Callum-Kosc-Gibbs
Arteta-Rambo
Theo-Ozil-Alexis
Welbeck

Love it. Wilshere, Ox, Rocisky, Per, Giroud, Poldi, Santi and Flamini as subs. Pretty damn strong side.

curious to see how we line up against city. we need to sort our right side issues out because as currently constructed, per and debuchy don't work together. too much space there. we'll need to make some sort of tweak there. also hope özil is slotted in at no 10. don't want him having any sort of defensive responsibility vs city. there's going to be a lot of space to attack then with. we'll need to exploit it on the counter. hopefully it's a fun match but not too open, because if that's the case we'll likely get shredded.

hopefully we can get kompany's arse on a card early. with Sanchez and welbeck's intelligent interchange and pace, we could get in behind that back line enough to create real chances.

Have a feeling it will be a very entertaining match. Wish we could sometimes park the bus. Won't happen though.

Agreed. This combination gets me nervous every time Debuchy pushes forward. Per may be the slowest professional athlete I've ever seen.

Please this! The guy has way too much talent to limit him to half the pitch.

I tweaked Callum to reflect where I actually think he is now, but the rest I left as is. I don't know what they are. Welbeck is like a 78. The rest are 80+; Gibbs may be 79ish.
