I believe he goes by just "Sokratis". But I'm only about 5% sure of that.

He does.

Looking good for Carvhalo. Please, Arsene go get him.

Would you be happy if we close the window out with Sokratis and Carvalho, but no striker?

Yes. Not ecstatic, but happy.

If you told me I could have that right now, I'd take it and be happy, and feel like this was a wonderful transfer window.

But we'd still not be all the way there. Despite the team behind them, I don't have confidence in Sanogo and Campbell handling the 9.

I don't know why Podolski seems to be in Arsene's doghouse, especially with Giroud injured.

I'd hope to see a lot of Poldo at 9 and Ozil back at 10, where he belongs.

And still, it would not be a guarantee that we'd finish top four, though I believe we could, assuming no complications with Theo coming back.

So yes, while we'd have a glaring weakness at striker, I'd be thrilled to get Carvalho, even if it means no new blood at striker.

I think Carvalho is going to be a monster.

Sigh. Daniel Mann was correct just now when he said that at every position, City has at least two high-quality players.

Sigh again.

God, I hate seeing Bacary wearing that puke blue kit.

Is Wenger retarded? Play ozil through the center, Jesus Christ.

It is quite maddening. This team right now just isn't quite there. Missing a few key pieces, but tactically we are being hamstrung.

Sigh. You have the best 10 in the world and insist on cutting his playmaking abilities in half by playing him on the edge.

It's like a chessplayer moving a knight to the edge of the board instead of playing it to the center. "A knight on the rim is grim."

Sanogo has the physical tools and all the potential in the world, but he is not ready to be the sole 9 in these crucial PL matches. And yes, this is crucial because we need to get 3 on the road against these bottom-table clubs. Why in the world aren't we using Poldo?

Chelsea get Remy. The rich get richer.

On a positive note. Calum Chambers is damn good.

It's painful to see the commentators at halftime mention how Arsenal always scramble and lose out to the big clubs all the time in trying to get their man. Mentioning how quickly and easyily Chelesa got rid of Torres and picked up Remy, and that all we have at the moment is Sanogo.

Seems they always just handle their business once they identify a need... none of these long drawn out flirtations or negotiations... its frustrating..

Chambers looks to be a great signing!

No way to look at this one but that we left two very acquirable points on the table.

With our usual susceptibility to injuries and it seeming like the transfer window will shut without us making another move, all of a sudden we look disturbingly thin. Finishing in the top four may once again be an uphill battle.

I'm utterly disgusted with Wenger right now. Tactically he is crippling the team, he's also partly responsible for allowing the team to have no depth at CB/CDM/ST. We've known since last season we needed upgrades at all 3 positions, or at least depth and yet Wenger hasn't done nearly enough to help bolster the squad. Striker is such a glaring weakness right now it's unbelievable.

That said the players today were terrible. I don't know if anyone had a good game. We refuse to make runs behind the defense, or play balls into space. We also have some huge defensive issues as well.

There's a lot of work to be done for this squad to win anything this season.

24 shots on goal vs only 9 for LCFC. Should have gotten the W.

None of the attacks were real threatening though. Those weren't all on goal btw, we had very few of those today. Most of the shots were from deep, or with a defender right in front of our player. All we could do was dominate possession knocking it back and forth horizontally in front of their box, and do way too much dribbling.

If anything Leicester had by far the better chances, forcing some great saves. Arsenal were shitty on defense, terrible diving in 1v1 tackle attempts, and caught out of position over and over again.

At this point I rather see Campbell out there than Sonogoal.

For a supposedly elite team we sure don't play like one. There is absolutely no end product. We look so stale going forward.
