I just got my jersey at Soccer 4 All yesterday. I always go with no name or number on the back. After getting home, it quickly set in that I spent $97 (after tax) on a shirt I will most likely just be wearing in my living room, alone at 7 in the morning. I almost feel like I need to reevaluate my life.

This obsession is real and really quite sad...

i wear my kit fairly frequently and it never fails to get multiple positive responses. it's started a shite ton of conversations.

Jeorge Bird says Chambers practiced at CB today and he thinks that Chambers will possibly play there in the Community Shield.

RT'd that earlier but forgot to post it, sexy. thought he was really going to break out last season. hope it's this one instead!

also, for some reason we're being linked with Douglas Costa. wouldn't really make any sense, so probably just BS.

Ox had some great moments last year, and some not so great moments.

I don't think there's any doubt he's going to be an excellent player. Wouldn't hurt to find a role to settle into, whether that's centrally or wide.

I've heard the Douglas Costa talk. That's got to be agent positioning. No way we go there.

crazy (or anyone else who watches spanish football more than i), is Ander Iturraspe good enough to fill our DM void? was just kinda googling around for DMs (since it looks like all our links aren't going to pan out) and came across his name quite a bit. seems like a guy Wenger would target.

Laporte for Bilbao also fits the mold of a promising CB prospect, but probably way too pricey for us.

Hoping ox comes good. At times brilliant, others, just shake my damn head. He's like the player that made the team cus he's faster than every one, but lacked skill. So frustrating watching him run at a player just to lose control of the ball. Just needs game time like rest of our oft injured players.

I really liked Iturraspe that one season under Bielsa. He was a really superb partner for Javi Martinez. I haven't kept up with him since, but he was my favorite player on that Bilbao team. He's a fairly good reader of the game, but I haven't watched him enough the last two years to accurately judge whether he would slide into our team. He wouldn't be a bad option though.

haven't seen any reliable sources say that. some of the shitty rags have said that sporting have put him up for sale and would accept less than his clause if they can get the cash up front. (which doesn't seem to be anything new)

We have the cash, and should pull the trigger.

caught offside just makes shite up. people are just riffing off kike marin saying that we were pursuing him prior to his injury. i don't think he fits into our picture this year, but if he isn't sold this summer or re-ups with dortmund, i would be shocked if we weren't one of the clubs trying to woo him with that extremely reasonable release clause.
