A couple news bits:
Apparently Verm is in London today for talks with Wenger about his future. I'd be really displeased if we sold him to United, but if he wants out, I'm fine with selling him to Barca. Don't want to strengthen a rival.
Still smoke and fire about Atletico pursuing Cazorla. Don't think there's any real truth to that, or at least that we're considering it. He's very important to what we do.
Sounds like Carvalho is officially 'for sale' from Lisbon. I'd think he's second on my wish list to Pogba and first on my realistic wish list.

the only way I'd be remotely ok with Santi leaving this summer is if that fabricated reus deal was true. and even then, I'd rather it be poldi sold.

i wouldn't hate TV5 to United for the right price. i would actually like it if we somehow got smalling or jones in the deal. maybe zaha. frick nani. anyways, i don't love tv5's game and the thought of him playing for a rival doesn't scare me as much as nasri, rvp, etc.

some twitter buzz from the usual (insert player's country's media) unsubstantiated sources saying we're negotiating with Quintero. again, i won't believe it until i see something more (that'd be pretty dope though, that guy is uber-talented).

Would be an interesting pickup. Not sure how immediately he'd factor in. Isn't he more of an attacking center mid? I don't know a ton about him to be honest.

yeah he's a no. 10 (though we like to throw those out wide too). i'm hugely skeptical, but colombian media says it is a real possibility. after the bernard/brazilian media fiasco, i'm not convinced in the slightest.
he's a spectacular prospect though. would be a surprising and incredible signing by AW, because it wouldn't be cheap and he isn't a finished product. loads of potential though.

The price for his sale doesn't seem right. When has Porto ever let any promising prospect go for 15 mil? I expect Quintero will stay there another two seasons. But I've been wrong about pretty much everything this summer, so whatever.

yeah, no way it'd be for that price. that and his position are the two biggest red flags to that report. he's allegedly got a 40m euro release clause, which would put him as more expensive than sanchez. though if porto wants some up front cash, maybe we can get he and carvalho for a significant discount from their release clause fees.

same. though i don't hope it's everton anymore. i don't really want to help them. not that i think we'll be competing with them this year, i just know that crippling injuries are always a possibility

-when khedira was mentioned he just said he wasn't going to give names
-says jack is in the best shape of his last 3 years
