I really don't like our backline + Flamini. It's a shame we had to settle for these guys, despite the injuries.

frick this shite.
Three incontrovertible facts:
1. Arsenal have the talent to win the league when healthy, with a coach who knows how to use all the parts.
2. Our ridiculous rash of injuries is systemic, not anecdotal.
3. Arsene Wegner wants the perception to be: "My,what a great job of coaching Wegner has done, considering the bad run of luck with injuries!" Whatever he has done in the past, he is now afraid that a fully-loaded squad that falls short would expose his weakness as a tactician.
First Ozil, and now there is danger of Sanchez being the big signing that gets overworked and worn-out. No, Ozil is not a goddamn "luxury item" like some in the media are saying, no doubt to Arsene's satisfaction. Ozil is the best playmaker in the world, that AW is totally misusing.
Thanks for the memories, Arsene, but it's time for a change at the top.

Agreed. On all counts.
And we settle for Flamini because Arsene doesn't get shite done in the transfer window. I don't get it.
No team underperforms for their level of talent like Arsenal.

I decide to end my self imposed abstainance from Arsenal and what the frick do I get but 3 nil down to stoke at halftime. frick this team. I should have just kept sleeping.

WTF??
I'm glad Santi scored there, but how does Arsene let him "take charge," given his striking slump?
How does Alexis not take that shot?

Yes, exciting finish and all that.
Glad for our comeback, but we should not have been down 3-nil to Stoke in the first place.
It's a shame we can't start playing with any passion until the game is out of reach.

Unacceptable to start two 19 year olds at the back. Wenger bought two luxury stars in positions we didn't need and failed to replace Flamini and have a reasonable amount of defensive depth. We all saw this coming when the window closed.
Any optimism I had is basically gone. frick this season.
ETA: by luxury I mean they were positions we didn't need to add to. I love both buys. Just not the lack of buys around them.

Is there any doubt at this point that Wenger is the root of all of our problems?
The refereeing was atrocious today (phantom yellow cards out the arse), but that didn't get us 3 nil down to fricking stoke by half time.
Top four sides don't go 3 nil down to Stoke. Can you imagine the reaction if City or Chelsea faced the same embarrassment?
We had to play Flamini at right back. That tells you a lot about Arsene's management of this team. Just pay the money and recall Jenko. FFS this is ridiculous.

Yeah it's all on Wenger. Past successes, no matter how great, don't pardon present blunders.

Woke up to 3-0, frick me...

Shearer is on MOTD ripping the ball-watching on set pieces from Arsenal.
Posted on 12/6/14 at 5:47 pm to TN Bhoy
Is that all he's ripping? He can do better than that.

We are just a joke in CM and Defense right now. Per is worthless without Kosc. Chambers is 19. Flamini is poo.
Wenger is completely to blame and only blames health when we all saw this coming after the window.

Just blows my mind that Arsene hasn't bought y'all defensive cover and a quality holding midfielder. I feel like anybody that's ever played manager mode could see y'all desperately need it.

It would seem to me that, when fit, the following is Arsenal's first-choice 11. Sadly, I predict we will not see this team play together at any point during this season. What kind of run could this team make if it got a run of games?
Szczesny
Debuchy-Chambers-Koscielny-Gibbs
Arteta-Ramsey
Walcott-Özil-Alexis
Welbeck

Walcott-Özil-Alexis
Welbeck

Wtf did I just watch? This team sucks.

Depending on the opponent, Giroud/Welbeck are a toss up. Everyone else would be a really great forward going squad. IF we had a true enforcer instead of Arteta we could play with any team on the planet.

Giroud is a fricking pansy. No ref in the prem is going to give him fouls when he falls down at the slightest hint of physicality, and the fact that he hasn't figured this out by now is just laughable. Stick with Welbz.
Posted on 12/7/14 at 7:57 pm to cwil177
Against teams like Chelsea or City Giroud a better hold up option. Against some others, Welbeck's pace is crucial.
