Guess who didn't play in either of Malaga's Champions League ties? Maybe a hint that he (Isco) could be on the move...

Who knows? I'm pretty sure they're passively shopping him.

Anyway, how about Pellegrini? If they make it out of group play, they had better erect a monument down there for him.

Arsenal Transfer News: Barcelona's Cesc Fabregas Could Return To Gunners

Tito Vilanova cannot find a place for Fàbregas

I know that is almost surely 100% untrue but just imagined if Cesc did return.

Sky Sports News reporting Theo Walcott has agreed on a short term deal with Arsenal and he will not be sold this window.

I know it's going to sound like a typical Arsenal fan rationalizing any bad thing, but I wouldn't have been that upset to see Theo go. I just don't value him that highly.

Im glad he is staying, need the depth in case of injuries. He and Gerv can battle it out for the rt wing.

I agree but we can't really afford to sell him this window. We already have new players settling in and we will probably bring in a couple more before the deadline. Its too late to sell Theo and find a competent replacement. Its a short term deal so we can probably revisit selling him next summer unless he proves himself worthy of a bigger contract.

So is the waiting until the last minute in the transfer window similar to the trade deadline in baseball? Both teams play hardball, then at the last second when something needs to get done, they make agreements?

Or

Is the fact that nothing has happened since we sold song an indication that nothing will happen?

Read somewhere we'd have to deactivate non-home grown players (or sell them) before we bring in someone else. We have our full allotment.

This is a great comparison. There tends to be tons of movement on the final day of the transfer window. However, don't expect Arsenal to bring in 5 players as they did at the end of the window last season. Arsenal may make 1-2 deals to bring players in. Though, you could see several players offloaded either on deals or loans at the last minute.

It's good to see rumors of Chamakh and Bendtner going out on loan's, potentially being sold, but what about Arshavin, Denilson, and Park?

We still have plenty of dead weight we need to offload.
