Could be either one. But I'm pretty sure we will have a signing that we never expected. Whether he will be an unknown or an established player we have no clue.
Right now I'm seeing a lot of Dzeko and Tiote rumors. I don't see us getting Dzeko. Tiote could be a reasonable possibility.

Wenger ruled out Tiote though. He said he's a good player, but not for Arsenal. Or was that posturing from him not tipping his hand?

I really don't feel the need to get a defensive mid though. Our defensive organization is much better already, plus we have midfielders actually committed to sprinting back on defense, unlike Arshavin and other lazy people.

I agree. At first I was screaming for a defensive mid but since watching our first two games I think we can go for someone with more skill and technical ability. If we do sign a defensive mid though it will give Arteta a chance to push up and him and Santi Clause already have a good understanding. Plus both can bomb from range.

If Cesc comes back It could turn the whole club around. We have enough talent to contend but he would definitely brings us up a notch. And other players around the world would notice Cesc leaving Barca to go back to Arsenal. That would be huge for us when going for future transfers. That said there is little to no chance of it happening.
