To all the downvoting retards in here who have no idea what the rules are —
The second decision was also correctly made on the basis of the Laws of the Game (Law 11 – Offside) which stipulates: “if a player in an offside position is moving towards the ball with the intention of playing the ball and is fouled before playing or attempting to play the ball, or challenging an opponent for the ball, the foul is penalised as it has occurred before the offside offence”.

Im sorry but you are wrong. Your own quote shows that you are wrong.

It was a penalty by the rules. I’m not wrong.
You need to quit being blind.
ETA: I don’t have a dog in this fight lol. Idc what the result is. The rule is shite, but it was called correctly.

No you are definitely wrong.

Im not being remotely blind. I already said Taylor got his portion of the call right and Auba's foul was not a penalty.
You need to just reread the very rule you quoted.

I'm going to assume that you believe Kane attempted to play the ball, making him offsides?
Just watched the video again. Mustafi seems to make the challenge just before Kane attempts to actually head the ball.
It's really close though. FWIW, I'd be okay with calling offsides in that situation.

100%. In fact I'm confused how that's even a question for some (not you per se).

Yeah.
Just depends on your definition of "attempted."
He obviously had intention to play it, but did he actually attempt a header is the only question.
I'm biased towards Spurs and even I'm conflicted with this call.

Mustafi can't be gone soon enough; that guy is a total disaster

Aaron Ramsey out here killing 90s celebrities with his goal this weekend

He's offside, he doesn't get the ball because of the push, the ball then hits mustafi on the head. Mustafi is trash and it was a foul but Kane is off as soon as he and kosc jump for that header.
That doesn't even piss me off as much, Rose should have bent sent off for either a straight red or a second yellow. His dive in the first half was fricking pathetic.

They call offsides all the time without someone touching it.

I'm not disagreeing with you there, easily could have been sent off for the challenge on Leno.
But in that case you have to say Xhaka should've at least gotten a yellow/red for his challenge to the back of Kane's knee.
Because at least Rose was attempting to play the ball. I have no idea what Xhaka was trying to do.

Has anyone even disagreed with that? I think most Arsenal fans would say it should've been a card. If we are playing that game, then, sure, we'll say that. Then Xhaka would have to play differently for most of the game with a yellow while Arsenal dominates possession in a game with man advantage.

I dont think so.
Just throwing it out there that there was a lot of questionable decisions in this one and Anthony Taylor was being extremely lenient.

And torreira actually played the ball. Straight red.
I just want consistency.
Also want to point out sokratis has owned Kane. He has turned out to be a good signing.

Yeah, he was quiet all match so fair point.
However, the overall played/goals scored between them is 3 games / 4 goals (2 being penalties so take that fwiw)

The only ref in England that isn't a complete fool is Micheal Oliver. They constantly get the big decisions wrong. And I'm not saying we haven't benefited from some of the bad calls.
