Such a fricking stupid decision. The amount of forced grieving when government officials and monarchy folks die is absurd.
The Royal Family wants a North Korea type mourning and it is so forced. Their PR team is the best in the universe so you know they pushed this forced bullshite.
I have no problems with Brits loving the Royal Family at all, but that love isn't reciprocated by the Royal Family whatsoever back to Brits and now the peasants have to mourn the death of the Queen for 2 weeks or else.

I still blame FIFA more for the Qatar WC this weekend cancellation wouldn't be as big of a deal if they hadn't made the worst sporting decision of history

What percentage of starters are actually from there? Its semi high but not that high.
After the past few years of cancel culture and shutting everything down people just want to get on with normal life. Now you shite down all those rabid soccer fans who for them soccer is life.
The other major soccer leagues will see a huge increase in tv/online viewership

We shutdown our entire country, in some places for months, over a phony pandemic scare. Didn't some NBA teams refuse to play (a playoff game no less) because a violent criminal was shot by the cops?
