Alan Shearer and Thierry Henry have become the first players to be inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame is the highest individual honour awarded to players by the League and celebrates the talent and achievements of standout professionals who have featured in the division since its creation in 1992. To be eligible, players must have been retired as of August 1, 2020.

Along with Giggs, those are the most worthy recipients.

giggs isn't a nominee, probably because of what's going on with his legal issues and whatnot.

Damn I didn’t even know about that.
Cool link. I voted for Cantona, Stevie G, Drogba, Le Tissier, Beckham, and Scholes (only allowed to vote for 6 people, no Shearer or Henry on the list.

Watching highlights from Shearers career and I’m just sad at how much the English National team has changed in 20 short years.

The England squad from Euro 1996 is my favorite:

LOL. You know what he would say. It's obviously because he misses Venables's unique ability to employ the 3-5-2 and then switch to the 4-4-2 like he did against Holland.

Venables made Olivier Dacourt leave

That looks like Darren Anderton in the gif. Injuries killed that guy.
Btw, Shearer/Sutton greatest Prem striker partnership along with Henry/Bergkamp
Sorry Cole/Yorke
