I don't understand how they couldn't put someone like Eddie Johnson on the same speed level as any other top player. His ball skills, vision, finesse, power, etc are one thing, but the dude is just as fast as any other professional athlete.

I like that FIFA video games help spread soccer, but it's also the reason a bunch of Americans thought France was actually going to do well at the 2010 World Cup and that Barcelona is the best team in the world.

Speed is far too important in the video game for that.

Hopefully they will fix it. I really want to get this game because I love the WC and entire qualification process and want to play through it with various countries (US, Wales, Tahiti 
)

Game's fun, ratings are god awful for a lot of non-UEFA teams.
They tweaked the gameplay slightly, with the ball seeming to have a more realistic weight and "thump" on shots. Also, the over the back headers are great to finally see.
They have a ton of scenarios from WC qualifying you can recreate, with 10 of them being USMNT ones if you buy this pack for like 300 EASFC points or whatever. The snowmageddon game against Costa Rica, the late winner against A&B, the comeback against Panama that made Zusi a saint in Mexico, etc. Pretty fun to go around the world and relive some cool moments if you ever get bored of the traditional tournament mode.

The USA rankings are pretty horrible. But you have to remember, qualifying stages started in like 2011 so they essentially use those ratings when you start the Road to the Cup mode.
I like that they actually age the players throughout qualifying and all that and the ratings fluctuate, but shite...you literally have to play every single game and every single training day to get Bradley and the rest to respectable ratings.
It's pretty realistic in that respect though I guess.

It's a pain in the arse, but I've been rotating drills and players every training day. I am going to lead Canada to glory. It'd be a lot easier though if Junior Hoilett stopped being a bitch and agreed to play for the Canadians.
My players have progressed pretty well though since I stopped being lazy and participated in the training sessions.
