I'm double biased here. Don't know if I should answer...haha. Rainey is actually faster acceleration wise than Demps but doesn't have the same top gear. Over 20-30 yd distance I'd say Rainey's faster than both, any more than that and I'm going with Demps.

That uploader has several videos entitled "Aaron Lennon Using His Pace v ..." Kind of a weird obsession.

Demps made the people he was running past look slow, and those football players in the secondary are all faster than Mexico's defenders...

I am not sure what kind of times Lennon could pull out, but I am sure they are fast as hell. That being said, Demps has the fastest 100 M ever by an American high schooler.

On a track, I will take Demps.

Walcott should be the measuring stick. I read somewhere that he was timed at a low 10's, like sub 10.1 in the 100 meters. That is blazing fast.

Demps was 10.01 in high school. That is a joke.

His current PR is 9.96. I will stick with him.

Read where Walcott was timed at a 9.99. Pretty fricking close for someone who doesn't train for track.

If there's one thing I've learned from sports, it's always go with official times instead of word of mouth times. For that alone, Demps has to win.

Just curious, was it FAT (fully automated timing) or hand timed? Hand timed is generally expected to be around .26 faster than FAT.

friendofOBUdan, I agree that it needs to be official, but I am sure they are all fast as shite.

This is all that I could find. 9.99 is a meal ticket.

I think Theo's meal ticket has been punched. He has made a lot more money than Demps at this point.

So Walcott's top speed over 100m would put him at 9.99. Demps has run a 9.96 off the blocks. That would make Demps the clear winner out of the two. Both are absurd fast though.

No doubt. Demps is a fricking beast. Very worried about him and Rainey two weeks from now. Walcott is a better speed merchant for comparison than Lennon for sure.

Well, of course, but 9.99 takes 2nd at the recent IAAF World Championships.

Theo Walcott is undeniably fast as frick, though.
