It's amazing any established player would consider Barca, given all of this bullshite. It's getting insane.
He did them a favor to get their finances in order and now they're doing literally everything to force him to give up those deferred wages.

Been saying it for over 10 years on here, even back when everyone was doing the "Barca is doing it right and Real are trying to buy championships" bullshite back during the Xaviesta era. They just had one insane generation from their academy and we were supposed to ignore their history of being huge buyers, even when they made big purchases (that often failed, like Chygrinskiy (had to look up his name).
The wheels are going to fall off this train. They can't keep signing guys to massive wages on frees and making big transfers after making current guys who just got big wages on frees cut those wages. This FdJ stuff may be the straw that breaks the camel's back. All it will take is one window where they can't force things (and it's clear they're in panic mode right now trying to force things) in order to rob Peter to pay Paul and it ALL comes down.

I think he wants that money and the only 2 ways he gets it are (1) stay at Barca or (2) have the purchasing team guarantee they'll pay it. Have any of them done this? I think t'Athletic reported this am Chelsea would.

It appears, according to Sky and Fabrizio Romano, that Fulham and West Ham have agreed to terms over CB Issa Diop, at 15 million. Nothing is ever final until Fulham releases the news themselves.
