St. Louis City SC announced the signing Wednesday of Swiss goalkeeper Roman Burki to a three-year contract.
Burki, 31, will join the 2023 Major League Soccer expansion club this July at the end of his Bundesliga season at Borussia Dortmund.

What an epic shitting of the bed in the second leg of the quarters. Revs should be embarassed. NYCFC almost lost to a team from Guatamala. Montreal losing makes sense. At least Seattle did well, but also, frick Seattle.

Chicarito can suck a big one. Orlando City with the big dub in LA today.

Looks like it's going to be another year struggling on offense. So many chances created. I was hoping Cabral would break out. Oh well, it's all about being hot at the end of the season anyway. Just make the playoffs...

Went watch Toronto vs Real Salt Lake Saturday. First professional soccer match in person and it was awesome! Wish they had a team in Louisiana.

Not sure how
But just get them out

BR has a USL team. Theres actually a bunch of semi pro teams in SELA. I have a dream that one day the Northshore will get a USL team that draws a few people. But probably not.

I guess I really should take advantage of the Dynamo $22 deal for a ticket, two drinks and commemorative cup. Plane tickets to Manchester are insane and I can't seem them coming down any time soon.

Pumas vs Seattle in the CCL final, leg 1… if not now, never?
Posted on 4/28/22 at 12:36 am to chalmetteowl
Bump… Seattle came from 2-0 down in Mexico to tie it 2-2 on a penalty in the 99th minute… next week they’re gonna be in front of probably 60k Sounders fans…
They played the whole CCL up to now with the away goals rule in effect, but dropped it for the finals

Concacaf makes no sense. However I do find it funny that MLS has a good chance to finally win CCL once VAR was instituted.

If the league would take the kid gloves off this wouldn't be the case. I know what happened in the NASL but it's time.
