Pedro is a very good player. It would be an excellent signing for Chelsea.

Yes I guess when you consider the other current options are Victor Moses and Juan Cuadrado it actually is pretty great.

Thinking the same. He is on a vastly higher level than those two. There really aren't many teams he wouldn't immediately start for. He needs to play with Euros coming up and this is the right time for him to move clubs.

So this is what i have gathered over this Pedro to Chelsea
Pedro to Untied was a done deal and he had agreed to terms with the club, but there was an issue b/w the clubs. Barca wanted the 22 million in one payment but United wanted to do it in installments like how most transfer fees are paid. Thus United ends their interest in the player.
City said they would pay all at once but Pedro turned down City bc of the potential of KDB coming in and also potential playing time with their current roster.
Once Chelsea learn that United and City are out of the running they step in and pay the 22 million at once.
Craziness

Honestly, Man Utd dodged a bullet with this one.

More on Pedro. United doesn't want to pay what FCB want... because Van Gaal decided, despite contact with player, that he was now not needed

So can United just go get a traditional striker now, or...

Huh?
Although I don't think they really need him, how do you figure?

Balotelli is believed to be available for around £7m.
Is he really that much of a team cancer?

With the stuff I've heard about him over the last year, I don't want him anywhere near Celtic.

He really hasn't been that bad for us. He does stupid shite but the whole system was fricked from the get go.
And whats the deal with Michu? What have you been "hearing" about him?

Tried to start a mutiny to get rid of Monk, refused to play when he wasn't played in exactly the way he wanted to play, terrorised the youth players (with some of the stuff I've heard about that, I'm surprised he's not in jail).
ETA: Sources - Swansea players and staff

Is he just a thug?
What kind of shite to the youth players? Just hazing or something or like butt rapey stuff?

Chelsea swooping in on Pedro. 21 million pounds, triggers release clause.
