According to a source, Southampton have bid £11 million for Virgil van Dijk. Will be decided after the Malmo tie.

Makes the Simunovic story make sense.

You just need to accept that Stones won't be at Everton after deadline day.

Spin it. Why would they send someone they actually believe in to a club that plays part-timers?

Why would they be giving up on an 18 year old with loads of potential who recently did this? Just because he is in talks to be loaned to Rangers? They might as well just sell the kid then by that logic.

I wonder if this Illaramendi to Pool talk is real.

If so I wonder how much they will pay for him. If Real could get away with only losing 10mil euro on him I'd be shocked.

Stuttgart centre-back Antonio Rudiger has confirmed he is set to join Roma.

The 22-year-old has long been linked with a move to the Serie A side, having reportedly already undergone a medical in the Italian capital as Roma look to replace Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, who has gone to Lyon.

The Germany international is expected to join on loan initially for a fee of €4 million, though Roma will be obligated to buy him for another €9m after a certain amount of appearances.

Watford have surprisingly been linked with a move for Liverpool flop Mario Balotelli.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Watford owner Giampaolo Pozzo is interested in the striker, who has scored just four goals for the Reds since making a £16million move to Anfield last summer.

BREAKING NEWS: UNITED END PEDRO INTEREST

Sky Sports understand that Manchester United have now dropped all interest in signing Barcelona forward Pedro.

quote:

Barcelona forward Pedro flew to London this morning to finalise a move to Chelsea, according to reports in Marca.

And it is understood that the Premier League champions have outbid rivals Manchester United for the Spain international, while the Blues have also reached an agreement with the player to move to Stamford Bridge this season.

That could be huge news and something we will be monitoring throughout the day, so stay tuned folks!
