Yedlin is official for Spurs. Don't know the details, just saw the tweet as I was walking to my car.

We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with Seattle Sounders for the transfer of DeAndre Yedlin.

According to @TaylorTwellman, Spurs paid $4 million, and Yedlin will stay with Seattle for 2014 at least.

Yeah, Spurs tweets have stated that Yedlin will join the team prior to the 2015/16 campaign.

Yeah, I've seen that which makes it seem as though he'll come to Spurs in the winter. However, other quotes, like the one below, make it a bit more confusing:
quote:
DeAndre has signed a four-year contract and will remain with Sounders before joining us ahead of the 2015/16 season.

Hmmmm..
I saw earlier that Chelsea will probably be shopping Cech. I would think PSG would be the perfect spot.

Hull City are reportedly preparing a move for England international Danny Welbeck and have asked Manchester United about the striker's availability, according to the Mail. Welbeck's role under Louis van Gaal has yet to be determined although the forward may need convincing a move to East Yorkshire is right for him.

Hull City just sold Shane Long for $20 million to Southampton.

Amazing, considering he's scored around 27 goals in 150 PL appearances. Not worth that much.

I wouldn't pay £14mm for Welbeck either... but a move may be good for him..

Welbeck played well for Steve Bruce while at Sunderland. He can at least get you at least ten goals a season.
Its not like they are paying £12 million for a striker who has only reached double figures in scoring in the top flight once.

I'm pretty sure Welbeck would rather cut off his dick than play for Liverpool so you don't have to worry about that.
Manc through and through.

That's fine, don't think we'd want him...

yeah, I guess... I still think he's worth 1/2 that. I'm not saying Shane Long is worth £12mm either...
Hell, I 'm ecstatic that Sunderland is offering £14 for Borini, didn't think we'd even make our money back on him, much less a profit (if he ends up going)..
