Chelsea were gutless and Arsenal were unintelligent. Neither club is going to win the league.

Arsenal's 5 center mid's might have run it's course. They need to pick up an impactful attacking option in the Winter transfer window.

Samaras is available...

me and my brother both sat down to watch this game. needless to say, we just woke up.

No idea why santi or poldi didn't sub on... Ramsey was clearly off his game.

Wenger definitely needed to bring on an attacking player, infuse some energy/creativity, heck just add something to the side in that 2nd half.

Shocked Walcott wasn't given a penalty. Big missed call.

I defiantly would've put Santi in.

Hard to get a win when a team as talented as Chelsea plays for a 0-0 draw in the rain and the referee is mike dean. Giroud has had about 5 gilt edged chances the last two games and converted none of them. Still not a bad result, beat Newcastle and west ham and we should be clear by 4-5 points after the first round of games

Pretty awful game in general. We don't look like a title winning side right now, but neither do Chelsea.

Who does though? Pool looks great but other than tottenham their wins have been against mediocre to poor competition. Arsenal looked as good if not better until we hit this four game stretch. Man city is by far the most talented and complete team but they still have home/away issues. They were tied with Fulham going into the 78th minute.

Man City are turning the corner. It's not like being tied with Fulham at the 78th minute on an extremely fortunate own goal is indicative of anything, especially in that game where they took over when they needed to.

quote:Probably. In my opinion injuries are the only thing that stops them. Aguero is out 5-7 more weeks. They have no healthy RBs over the next couple weeks as well. Those are big issues for them.

They will still win by default.
Chelsea have no strikers and don't play their best players, Arsenal have no cutting edge or bottle, Pool aren't deep enough and Suarez will be suspended for something stupid soon, Man U is in transition and just aren't good enough, and AVB ruined Spurs.

like i said when the season started if there ever was a year for Arsenal this was it. But they let city hang around to long.
Such a shame too a team with only 6 english players and only 2 that contribute wins the league.
