I know it is about money but Georgia is an idiot for not playing in Athens every other year. If Florida wants to play in Jacksonville then good for them. If Georgia does not realize it is a home game for Florida then they are idiots. I don't care if they split the tickets the game is still in Florida. No way if I am Kirby Smart do I agree to this when the contract comes up.

I can see that you’ve been pondering this question for some time.

frick that. Game should be in Jacksonville every year from now until the end of time. It's a 50/50 crowd split and it's the best game week atmosphere in college football.

Is Oklahoma stupid for playing Texas in Dallas every year?

I'd love to play UGAly on a home and away basis, who else can hang half-a-hundred on the mutts between the hedges?

Seriously though, the game in JAX brings too much money in to both teams for a move to ever be considered. It's a shame, a rivalry this great needs to be on campus.

Yeah because the Cotton Bowl is shite in Dallas. That place is sketchy af. I'd move it to Arlington despite the fact that the Texas fair is there. So what? Texas isn't supporting the Oklahoma State Fair.

I think the Georgia Florida game is special unlike Arkansas Texas A&M. It should be in Jacksonville.

Because we don’t want those trashy fricks in our state.

Half-a-hundred will do that to a man.

Maybe you should go to the game before you spout off like you know what you are talking about?

And I am fine with changing it if that is what everyone wants, but no one wants that except for a few teenagers in Georgia who have computers and have never been to the game.

It will eventually happen. The Iron Bowl used to be a 50/50 ticket split and you see what happened to it.

The home team used the home locker-rooms as well, rotated every year.

The Cocktail Party is lightweights from Florida and Georgia duking it out. They don't know how to drink and party down there.

Besides, the distance doesn't matter. There are more than enough UG people down here 24/7 and those frickers take over that week.

You have to realize that Georgia gets a Fall break and Florida doesn't, so the UGa students are out of school. Also Georgia fans stay just North of the Fla/Ga line in one of the most beautiful areas in the world imo, St. Simons Island. They treat it more like a full fledged vacation than Florida fans, who either drive in and out on the same day or may spend 1 or 2 nights in Jax. I think UGa has the better experience with the game being in Jax. The travel time for the teams is roughly the same because UGa flys while UF drives, and UGa is compensated for their additional travel costs.

It’s pretty much 50/50 every year and they get to play in a large metro area in front of Florida recruits.

So...

I've never been to the Cocktail Party, but from the outside looking in, the atmosphere always looks pretty incredible. I think it's a great tradition.

So we play them on a neutral field then play them at home?

You're dumb aren't you.

The WLOCP is a special experience, I don't think there are really all that many on either side that want to see it changed. It's one of those things that should be on every college football fans bucket lists.
