It's not bad, though.

"My team and I stand ready to work under President Trump's strong leadership" is as close as you're going to get to an apology. Does he say "I'm sorry"? No. But those words say that he is willing to subjugate himself to Trump's will ...he's going to work UNDER Trump...not with him, not beside him, but under him.

Now, in four hours he could throw another temper tantrum. But I don't have any problem with that wording.

No, he's going to have to add a lot to that.

...show up dressed appropriately, offer an actual apology, release the names of the Democratic operatives that coached him, agree to a cease fire, sign a long term peace agreement, withdraw all Ukrainian troops from battlefield, agree to a new minerals/rare earth deal and then he has to open up Ukraine to a new presidential election.

He has a lot of work to do.

Have you ever been to Ukraine or Russia.

quote:

"Our meeting in Washington, at the White House on Friday, did not go the way it was supposed to be. It is regrettable that it happened this way. It is time to make things right. We would like future cooperation and communication to be constructive," he said.

I lived in Russian and Ukraine for the better part of 20 years and that is more of an apology than I ever received from anyone in either countries. Slavic people especially their women do not apologize.

Is this the same puppet who just said, "We are far, far away fome peace"???

Even as a puppet, this little fellow is in way over his head.

Not all apologies say “I’m sorry” verbatim.

Not all of them say it verbatim.

Zelenskyy's apology probably needs to say it verbatim though. Or whatever Trump says he wants it to be. If he has to come into the Oval and physically kiss Trump's arse, he should probably do so pretty quick.

The pause to aid along with Europe's false sense of security is going to soon open the door for Putin like Ukraine has never before seen.

Would seem someone is losing their Starlink. Without communication to navigate, those weapons are useless for him. No amount of money will fix that.

That'd be my guess.

That's why he then begins to outline how things will work, that's not working under, that's dictating.

Boy is losing his Starlink in my opinion.

Of course he does. Are you going to get all of it in his first statement? No.
This is a start. Here's the take away from all of this: whether or not it's all that people on this board wanted to see, is it enough of a start to satisfy Trump to the point where discussions will continue and something gets signed? I think we are seeing that it is.

You're going to get hung up on how he dressed? The mere fact that Trump allowed him to be dressed like that to start with tells you that you shouldn't be hung up on that. Trump doesn't care...why should you?

And as far as him...Volodymyr Zelenskyy...actually telling the public that his was being "coached" by American Democratic operatives? The President of Ukraine telling the world that he was following instructions from hacks like Susan Rice?

Yeah...good luck ever hearing that.

Nah, that’s exactly when you do negotiate it.

Deal however won’t be the same one.

Wrongheaded thinking.

This is a win for Trump. Coming on the heels of one of the greatest congressional addresses ever, it’s a great way to help push the agenda forward.

Make no mistake, hard times are coming. Biden did too much damage to easily be overcome and Trump needs every win we can get to help push the agenda forward before they get here, and I see it on the horizon not far away.

Once it’s here the press and the RINO’s will make it impossible to do if it’s not already in motion.

When they move the Oval Office over there then I guess we can go by their standards. But, as DJT stated, "you have no cards". We need to stick with our rules and not capitulate to theirs.
