I sort of agree, based on what white people in charge of food and nutrition policy have done, in cahoots with the fascist food industries.
However they make everyone fat who isn’t paying attention (or just blessed with weird skinny genes). Not just the Kwanes.

Look at sub Saharan Africa, pretty thin black people
Black people are only fat in places that are majority white, because white people produce abundant food supplies.
